Dtu Opportunities and struggle

I have chose this engineering physics course becaus the students of this course is allowed in most of tech placement companies like 7 out of 10 companies allow us to sit. The competition of this branch is mechanical but mechanical students are allowed in 4-5 companies out of 10.The faculty ratio is okay there are plenty of teachers 1:50. You can find every kind of teacher here serious one funny one. Some teachers are very good and some are very bad some are just okay. You can there is mixture of both good and bad teachers. The teachers are highly qualified some of them are in the list of top 2% scientist our lab assistants are also PhD holders. The teaching varies but it is mostly conventional. In a semester two exam happens theoretical and practical theoretical exam happens in two phase midsem and endsem practical exams occur in the last phase of semester. The exams are easy to pass but difficult to ace. The exam are getting difficult from previous year.

The internship opportunities are good the internship starts from third year. Companies like atlassian amazon Google Microsoft provide internship to our students. The roles offered are mostly tech roles along with very very less core roles. Most of the internships are grabbed by computer science students and students from upper branches in sad sometimes the average stipend is around 59000 which is good the projects are generally web designing problem solving ui designing and etc

Dtu performs out of the league in placement numbers the average package is around 16pla which is very good considering the intake of 2500 students per year. The students are eligible for placements in 4th year but the internship opportunities starts form 3rd year only with ppos and all. 384 companies visited our campus with around 2500 offers. The highest package is 1.80cpa in a tech profile company is amazon. Average is around 16lpa. 97%of students got placed. I want to have a tech placements because there are ample of opportunities for tech placements

The fess is around 239000 for everyone for all categories. The scholarship opportunities are very less here there are two-three major scholarship. First from dtu itself which is limited to limited number of students. Very needy fellow is going to get that scholarship. Then merit cum means scholarship which is coming very late nowdays or even forms are not coming out which is concern of issue for those who have average financial condition the survival here with less money is very very difficult you should have strong or average financial conditions or resources to sustain yourself. The fee hike is generally 4-6 percent which is bad. But all of the fees is worth it because there are ample placement opportunities if you work on yourself you'll easily can get placed in a good company. The internship opportunities are also good with average stipend of 59000.

The campus life is amazing for those who are hostellers or have a pg or something. the life is hell of difficult for day scholars they don't have much opportunity to enjoy or participate in extra caricular activites. The annual fest Is engifest which is the most amazing fest even better than iit Delhi's fest the tech fest is yuvaan engifest happens in Feb and yuvaan in jan-march the library is enough for a scholar there are many many books and lending policies are great you cannot have problem form library. The classroom are fully air-conditioned the teaching method is bot from projectors and black board or conventional method but you'll not find any discomfort in class. The extra cariculars are great there are many societies the sports infrastructure is really nice we have a gym badminton court basketball court cricket pitch indoor sports complex and many more. There many socials groups and societies for everything like pratibimb for dramatics sahitya for literatures dtu timesmuchmore

Everyone who have a valid jee mains scorecard of that year only is eligible for admission in dtu . The application form of jee mains is avaible on nta website. Form fee 1000 gen/obc 500sc/st. Form release sep-nov ,jan-mar. From the valid scorecard of jee mains we have to apply in jac delhi counselling. The fees of counselling is around 1500-2000rs. There is 85 percent delhi quota for students studied form delhi and 15 percent for outside delhi. In Delhi quota and outside delhi there are sub categories of general obc sc st. For eg I am a inside delhi obc category. The counselling starts after 2 attempts of jee. After the seat allotment in jac delhi you have to give 95000 as seat allocation fees otherwise if the seat is allotted and you don't pay the money you will not be able to participate in further rounds.After seat allotment physical verification is done.The reservation benefits are immense same seat but differnce of Lakhs of rank.I got a seat at 1.6lakh rank which is 40-53k for gen
