Big Green Lush campus with amazing sports facilities.
Placements are decent as compared to other colleges. Even better than some IITs.
Course curriculum is pretty chill here. You get extra time to work on your skills as well.

Dislikes

Delhi Region students do not get hostel facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm doing B Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE) at DTU. The main reason of chosing EE at DTU was my CRL rank in JEE Main 2023. The faculty:student ratio is around 1:60, in some courses it is around 1:30. Some of the teachers are P.hD from IITs. Term Exam happens in every 1.5-2 month. The exam are moderate to pass.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 229000 per year

Placement Experience

Since, right now I'm in First Year at DTU, All I have heard about placements from seniors is that placements are good at DTU. You just have to maintain a good CGPA. Placement % is around 80-85%. Avg Package of college is around 16 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year at DTU in 2023 is Rs 2,29,000. The fee is bit increased in further years. There is a spike of around Rs. 10,000. DTU doesn't provide any scholarships on merit basis. However, there are some scholarships available for economical weaker sections.

Campus Life

The annual fest here at DTU is "ENGIFEST" which is usually conducted in Mid February every year. Annual Tech Fest of DTU is "INVICTUS", it is also conducted in February. The Library is decent at DTU. You can find almost every book of your course. Classrooms are equipped with a projector for digital learning. There is a big sports ground that include fields for Cricket, Football, Basketball, Kabbadi, Volleyball etc with an indoor Gym. There are many socities (groups) run by students. "DTU TIMES" is one of the example.

Admission

You'll have to appear for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains CRL Rank. Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi is the counselling you should apply for to get admission in DTU.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
