Likes

environment and different clubs . and also there are a lot of options u can explore .
the infrastructure is not that much good but is nice ... there is a lot of greenry in the campus .
it's fest ... the fest are the best ( the one which happen in feb and march ) and also it's people .

Dislikes

it is situated in a bad place which is not that much developed .
it's infrastructure is not as good as iit delhi and more private colleges
teachers don't give a shit about students .

Course Curriculum Overview

why i choose this course - ofc it's the CS branch that's why i choose it ... becuase it have the highest pakage . faculty student ratio - well most classes have strength of 75 ... and faculty student ratio doesn't matter because u'll be studying all by urself ... qualification of faculty is really good and all are chosen wisely . 1 semester is about 3.4 to 4 months long ... there are total of 8 semester in the btech program .. they are pretty easy to pass if u study in between the exams .. ( the holiday given between exams - i was given 2-3 days between every examination ) .

i am just a first year and i don't know much about the college intership opportunities ... but here are a few from what i have experienced : DTU is near many it hubs so u can take part in those and u can apply in different companies in delhi or gurgoan for intership offline .. the travel would be easy .

Placement Experience

i don't know much about the college placements because i am just a first year ... but the this year the it's average pakage was more than cs's average pakage . it was pretty hard to watch because i am in cs :/ . but there wasn't that much of a big difference ... .the difference was like 10k or something . highest campus placement is generally from the cs branch ... it's amout is around 80-90 lacs per year .

Fees and Financial Aid

there are many financial assistance programme if u belong to lower caste or have a low salary i guess .... more details about it are probably on the college site that is dtu.ac.in . it's fees is around 10-11 lacs for whole programme .... that is 2.5-2.6lac per year . after 4 years companies come into the college for placement .

Campus Life

social life is the best part i liked about the college .... people are just chill and friendly ... most people are from gurgoan and delhi ... infrastructure is ofc not as good as iit delhi . and also it is not as good as private college .... there is not even a swimming pool in the college . boys hostels don't even have ac , and are not spacious and are really old .

Admission

JEE Mains was the exam name and after the jee mains we have to do the jac delhi councelling . after that physical verification was done in the BR audi of college ... all the details were on college sites . for CS branch the cutoff is around 13.5k for general category .. ( Delhi quota ) but i got admission even at 28K rank because i am OBC from delhi (Delhi quota too ) generally obc like me ( from delhi ) can get CS branch till 45k or sometimes even 50k rank . just keep checking jac site and dtu.ac.in site for admission process . and also to be counted as obc ncl ... u should belong to delhi and should have obc ncl issued by delhi government . to be counted as just obc - just take ur father's obc certificate of whichever state u belong , to a tehsildar in delhi , he will make a verification certificate that the caste u belong to is counted as OBC in delhi too and just show that in the physical verification . that's all

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The professors in my college are very supportive

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

I love the main campus of university established in dwarka sector 10

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

I recommend for diploma course to persuing from DSEU university and btech from gb pant campus only this is best campus only for bachelor of technology in computer science engineering, placement is also good for this college

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
