Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well I choose this course because I was expecting for an upgradation. But that's not be there. Well faculty at this college are well experienced and also there are intern teaches. Well I am not sure about there qualifications but atleast they will be phds at there subjects. At each sem there are two exams as mid sem and end sem. As per the difficulty, it's moderate.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for collage placements. Well for btech students there are approx 450 companies had arrived as per i listen from seniors and the avg package was 15 lpa. The highest they reach was 81 lpa. For mechanical branch avg was 9-10lpa and At my estimates approx 80-85% students will get placed. For me I want an tech placements. Personally I don't like corporate jobs that why after some time I will plane for a bussiness

Fees and Financial Aid

As for government college they fee they are demanding is not worthy, they only give 1 scholarship for 100% or 50% refund from the college fee. Well you can apply for many private scholarships . Well there are many internships you can get in this collage but because of lots of students it's very hard to grab.these internships stipend starts from 7-8k to 150k.

Campus Life

4.5

Well life is really chill.lots of free time and many more thing you will find to do. There are many fest conducted in our college and one of the best fest that you will find in Delhi. You have liberary with wifi, books, stationeries, security. You will find many books there with book bank. There are classrooma in respective branch department and for first year students we have pb class rooms which is totally airconditioned and good. You will also get a massive sports complex with indoor badminton, chess, pool, table tennis, and outdoor badminton, cricket, football, volleyball, lawn tennis and kabaddi ground. There are various societies that you can join for extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3

Well I can't talk much about other hostel. But for ABH and type -2 hostels it's not the worst but I will rate it as below average. But for first year student this is all you get. Both hostels have common mess which is also average with no Friday dinner. The hostel fee for ABH is 52000 and extra compulsory mess fee of 32000. Well there are many pg nearby this collage and I mostly prefer them over the hostels.

Admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my keen interest in chemistry. The ratio of faculty members and students is quite good. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and all of them have a very good sense of teaching. Exams are held periodically within a month mostly. And the difficulty of the exam mostly depends on the course material and its structure.

Average packages are 12±3L. Campus placements begin after the 6th semester. The placement rate is very high and campus placements are very successful in connecting people with companies. I'm not sure of my future plans.

Placements in IITD are quite good. Most of the students who sit for the placement are selected. Many companies from different firm like consult, tech, and trading comes for in-campus placement. I would also sit for the placement for tech firm.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are good for circuital branches. Some of them get good packages of 1-2cr while the rest of us from non circuital branches have no hope and no core opportunities. Around 500 companies visit every year. Campus placements take place after the 7th semester I think. Almost all students get placement here or have other goals like MBA, UPSC, etc. I have no plans after getting a degree. Also here software, as well as consulting companies, come.

The campus placements start from the end of the 7th semester for 4-year courses. The best thing is even if you are not from the circuital departments, you can still get a decent job. The opportunity per person ratio is very high here at IIT Delhi.

Students sit for placements in the second last semester, and the opportunities are aplenty, with multiple companies coming to take students. The average package is around 12L, and high placements are only available for quant roles open only for Comp Sci and Maths students. Not all students get a placement, though, but 90% do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course due to what I was getting according to my rank. The faculty-student ratio is great around 1:5, small class size for lectures. Tutorials and labs have a more intimate ratio as well. Qualification of faculty is pretty good since most have done Ph.D. from foreign universities and a lot of them have very good teaching styles although some have poor communication skills. But all of them are willing to listen and answer questions. We have very regular exams and are relatively alright to pass although first-year exams are quite difficult.
