What Students Say

Likes

Annual fest , freshers party , college organised trips.

Dislikes

Faculty, No air conditioning in the classroom , no auditorium

Course Curriculum Overview

I think Information technology is a course which is good to go in this generation and will never go down and most of the jobs are available for IT sector. Faculty student is fine a decent faculty is available for student. We have or term exams after every 4 months and easy to pass and mid term after every 2 months

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 188888 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placements commence from 6 semester, with companies like AWS, ZS and Juspay participating. 90% of students secure placements, with 65lpa offered by Google but it was off campus . Post-graduation, I aim to masters in business , leveraging skills gained during the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers a government provided scholarship we need to fill the form and college also reminds about the scholarship. currently I am iny 3 rd year no job till now and as i got to know about job from seniors off campus is much better than college placement

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is dynamic with diverse clubs, a vibrant social scene, and notable infrastructure. Annual events include Malhaar in November . The library offers a vast collection, classrooms are well-equipped, and sports/ extracurricular activities abound. Socity and foster student engagement, contributing to a rich overall experience.

Admission

Admission process was pretty smooth as admission was totally dependent on our jee mains score and eligibility was 75%in 12 th class . The application form was simply available on Guru Gobind Singh indraprastha University website application fees was 250 INR which was non refundable application generally starts after the second attempt of jee mains and for any further changes we can visit their official website which is ipu official website .The counselling processes delayed a lot even for a month which i think is a backlog and it needs to be improved

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
