DTU review

I chose this course because this was the best that I could get through my rank in the college and also overall. I am not sure of the faculty ratio but there is not much interaction possible between them and us as they have limited hours. I personally did not like the way much as we need to study maximum su jects on our own with youtube videos. We had exams in two sets mid terms and end terms with 20 and 40 marks respectively. I do not think it is much difficult ti pass tgeexam as two ti three days are enough if you just want to pass but for good score you need to give atleast a week to each subject. We have 25 marks for the practical and rest 15 marks is with teacher for assignment, attendence and behavior in class. You will need to maintain at least fifty percent attendence although criteria is seventy five percent . Some teacher do not say anything but some follow their minimum criteria and give according marks. We have class of 64 students with one teacher .

There are internship offered in the institute by several companies such as sprinkle , microsoft , ola ,uber , etc. Since I am in first year I am not much involved in the internship programs as it is offered to students of third year.

Campus placement are decent in the top branches but low in lower branches. You may get a chance for internship in the third year and placement season startnearly at the begining of the fourth year. This year highest package offered was 86 lakh. Almost 80 percent students get placed. I would prefer doing an MBA after the course.

I dont think there is any kind of hike . Fees is 2.29 lakh per year I.e., nearly 10 lakhs for complete btech. There are scholarships but only for scheduled castes . There is nothing as in for general peaople. Campus job is provided.

The best thing is the college life . The annual fest is Engifest which take place in February. There are plenty of books available in the 3 story library. In class room we just have a white board. Decent sports facilities is provided and there is a society for almost every thing that one may think of .

I took admission through Jee mains in which cutoff for IT branch for Delhi quota was 16500 I.e., beast my rank 15541. Here there is 85 percent quota for delhi students. Application to college is done through JAC Delhi counselling.
