Curriculum is not too tough… You can clear exams before studying one week of exams..
We get soo much free time for doing other activities…
Fests are just amazing… It was my one of the best experience in college…

Boys Hostel facilities are the one I disliked…
Mess food is also just eatable.. it should be improved..

Course Curriculum Overview

I opt for software engineering, bcoz I have keen interest in computers from my childhood and I'm also good in various programming languages like C/C++, javascript and python... this course also offers high packages during placements... there is midsem and endsem exams in our college...difficulty might vary according to the professors but passing the exam is a cup of tea for any student...

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 229000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered very less in numbers from companies but you can apply for college internship also... for internships your cgpa should be above 8.5... You should have well knowledge of DSA and have made basic projects..

Placement Experience

After 6th sem students apply for placements and after 4th sem for internships...More than 150+ companies like Microsoft, google, amazon etc visits every year offering average placement above 20lpa... you can get placement on above 6 cgpa but must try to score cgpa above 7.5 for getting safe... If you are not getting placement then you can prepare for govt jobs and can also start a startup..

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure increases every year... our college provides various scholarships for the students who have financial issues... one can also apply on govt scholarships like NSP and e-district etc.. professors also so helpful here..

Campus Life

There are various fests held in our university like Engifest, Tech fest, literature fest etc. Engifest is North India largest fest... Sports fest is also from one of them... There is many types of society available for the students.. It counts above 100... Campus is also beautiful, everyone will gonna enjoy it... classrooms are so so so good...

Hostel Facilities

Boys hostels are decent, girls hostels are just like wow...you all know about mess food, so mess food will gonna decent decent... Hostels are available for outside delhi students only.. But hostel life is soo amazing, if u have chance then go for hostels once...

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

For admission in DTU, one needs to clear JEE-MAINS entrance exam with 95+ percentile... Percentile can also vary according to categories.. There is also reserved seats for Delhi quota students, which is of 85%... 15% seats are for outside Delhi students... so outside Delhi students need high percentile in their Jee-mains exam... seats should be increased for outside Delhi quota students, this is the only change i want..

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
