Hostel and hostel administration. Mess quality
Location. It’s in the outskirts. Also Delhi pollution

Course Curriculum Overview

Software engineering is a great course as it offered industry knowledge to work in companies. Student to faculty ratio is 20:1 but class ratio is 100:1. Most of the teachers are PhD Scholars. Only a selected (4-5) are doctors. Term exams are always timely and easy to pass if you pay attention in class and complete all given work

Internships Opportunities

Internships ar le available from 3rd year and a lot of companies come for internship. Additionally tech internships are a lot and even non tech students can appear. Non tech students get placed too. Good stipends

Placement Experience

Placements are great with good packages . Big companies come for recruitment. We even have great internships. Over ninety percent students get placed. Many students give GATE or CAT exam. Some even try for civil services.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee is perfectly fine when comparing other engineering colleges. But the hostel fee is very high compared to the quality of hostels that are there. Additionally mess is compulsory and there is not mess leave option. You don't get mess fee extention or refund when you take leave. They are basically looters, especially the Chief warden

Campus Life

Engifest is the annual cultural fest. We also have Aahvan yuvan and techfest. They are all great just like any other fest. Books and journals are available in library although it can be improved furthermore it's not 24/7 open. Sports facilities are great

Hostel Facilities

Room are of very poor quality. Washrooms don't have mirror or even hand wash. Most of the seats are broken or burnt. Mess food is absolutely garbage. There is continuous debate between students and mess staff that just goes to show the rotten condition of hostels

Thru JEE main score and rank. Form and other information on JAC Delhi site. 85% state quota and other standard reservation. Streamlined document verification. Further the hostel allotment process should be corrected and rules should be followed while allowing hostels

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
