DTU CHANCE FOR THE DESERVING.

SE is a tech branch so according to hype I took it. Faculty in engineering colleges are of vast variety you cannot just label them. Student ratio for boys and girls is around 90:10 if there are 100 students in a batch. Faculty is also highly qualified. Some professors have a decent teaching methods and rest just read a ppt. Again they are professors not teachers so tread lightly. Do not take college lightly if unprepared you will definitely fail try to keep up in lectures. Exams are divided into mid semester and end semester for each semester mid sem happens after 1.5 month after the semester's start and end sem happens just after 1 month of end sems. It is somewhat difficult to pass.

Mainy startups provide students with internships, during this period of resession there are very few companies comming to dtu for internships. You have to have some type of project for you to show in you port folio for creadbility.

From 6th sem students become eligible for the placements Every year more than 400 companies visit dtu such as Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon etc. with average package of 50lpa, 80lpa, 40lpa, 50lpa(these are the top companies top students placed in with very few seats, many more companies but with lower average also comes here). Highest package from DTU has benn 2.3 cr. Around 60 to 70 percentage of students from every batch gets placed from campus.

Every year fees is being encreased 10000 annually. If you take cost of studing into consideration it is quite high despite the fact that this college is state government funded. There are many scholarships since I didn't got any so I specifically don't know their names but there are many.

Engifest is the annual fest, yuvan is the annual flim and literature fest. Both are always conducted during the month of February. There are a lot and I mean I lot of books in all sorts of topics in the Library. Really good amenities in classroom There courts and groung for literally every sport. There are many social groups for every type of person. In dtu the concept of club doesn't exist but there are societies difference is if you want to learn something from scratch you can join a club but if you are already experienced in a field you joina soci9and work on projects.

Eligibility of the course is to clear DTU's jee mains cut off according to your catagory. Application for this college is done throug jac delhi portal after clearing the jee mains. Application fees is around 4000 and dates vary every year but occurs 1month after jee mains result. As for the improvements that that can be made are dtu website should be fixed cause it crashes multiple times during the addmission season.
