My experience at DTU

My course is electronics and communication engineering, so course curriculum is subjects including basic electricity engineering, engineering mathematics, applied chemistry, Electronics engineering, applied physics, and an elective courses which we have to register for every semester, talking about students ratio sadly we have a ratio of 15:1 in our department. Qualification of the faculty is top notch they are highly qualified professionals in their subjects and there are some faculty who are phd scholars. Term was really hectic assignment, practicals, mid term, end term. Usually we have mid terms starts in SEPTEMBER end and End sem which starts in November for odd semester.

Every year there is a fee hike in University fee for each course according to university norms, course fee for every year include tuition fee, exam fees and all the non refundable charges. For this this year our course fee is 2,29,000. Taking about scholarship University provides scholarship for students who are not financially capable of affording the academic charges and there are some scholarship provided by state and central government like nsp, edistrict mcm. Apart from this you can take education loan from campus bank which is there by submitting the required documents.

Engifest is the north India's largest cultural fest which is organised by cultural council of DTU which is happened in February every year. All the books and journals which somebody needs is available in Library and Library is open from 9am to 11pm everyday. We have a sports complex where anybody can play every sports like cricket, badminton, football etc.

For taking admission in btech you have to give jee mains exam according to your percentile a crl rank is allotted and admission is basis on the cutoff rank for the particular branch of the course. For the application form you have to register on nta jee website when the registration process starts it usually starts in December for the session 1 and for session 2 it was in Feburary every year and application fee for general category is 1000, for female candidate and sc/St it is 500.
