- college life , college vibe , no attendance issue all things are available like zepto , big basket
- placements are good , you will have to work on your skills to get placed easily
- teacers are chill and not much assignments so u will get time for yourself
Dislikes
- classrooms given to non cs/it studemts are average or below avg
- time table for lower branches is hectic but manageable
- lab teachers are strict in attendace but u can manage with them
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has a vast scope in govt and private Some faculty members are chill and some are very difficult to understand but overall u can manage with them so no problem , attendance is not necessary to be 75% , but officialy they say its 75% just to make studrnts come to college qualification of faculty are very high , they all are well qualified their are mid sems and end sems exams , you can pass them easily if u r an avg student.
Internships Opportunities
internships are a bit difficult if u r an avg student , for eg , only 5 -6 students got internship in btech in sem1 (2k23) but if u r a good student and u have skills in coding then u can get internship my frnd got interhnship worth 25k per month , he's in mechanical branch
Placement Experience
worry not about placements , dtu is excellent in giving placements if u work in skills etc big companies like mercedes , netflix , amazon visit every year you can also do internships from 1st sem only , but you will have to be good in coding etc nearly 70-80% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
being a govt college , dtu is definitely expensive , their are scholarshops for sc st stduents but its only 10k per year if ur annual income is above 4lakh per annum , ration card gives 100% scolarship in tution fee
Campus Life
their are fests every now and then , u'll enjoy in the campus , the vibe is real , but the main fest , ENGIFEST occurs in February , which is the real fest , many big celebrities come to attend it classrooms given to CS , IT students are luxury with stair classsrooms and cushioned chairs sports etc are very prominent in dtu their are several societies in which u can enroll like- cultural council , pratibimb , yuvaan , etc
Admission
I was admitted in DTU by JEE Mains , and since I studied 11 , 12 class in delhi , I had the domicile of delhi so it's a bit easy to get dtu by delhi quota , delhi quota is also a type of reservation you can say the application process can be reached by the jacdelhi website , by jac delhi counselling you can apply in delhi colleges like NSUT , DTU , IGDTU ETC
