Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for me choosing civil engineering is preet simple I loved this course and about students ratio girls are still found only in tech department's that a drawback we can assume students ratio of boys and girls to be 76:4. The faculty of the college have their PhDs as well national recognition. The exams were conducted timely and in a smooth manner plus a person having good knowledge of the subject can pass.
Internships Opportunities
There is an incampus internship opportunity provided to the students called USME with a stripend of 11000 for 3 months . Plus there is an IIF center inside college itself which promotes startups and provide internship for students.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement there are alot of companies who visites DTU on regular basis some of them and the package offered by them are as follows 1. Wipro - 16LPA 2.GAIL - 9LPA 3.SPRINKLER - 16LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
During the past few years the fees of DTU has grown exponentially and it crossed the 200000 mark but to compensate various scholarships are provided by the college on regular basis like the MCM scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is conducted usually in the month of February and the tech fest is also conducted in the first few months of the year all the necessary amenities are provided in the classroom and also students are indulge in various extra curricular activities there are more than a 100 society in DTU some of them are STEO DTU,SCEE AND YUVAAN and there is also a website called FREESOURSE.DTU run by students and made for students.
Admission
The basic criteria for admission in DTU is pretty simple and smooth you first have to qualify jee mains exam after 12th class and then you have to apply for JAC Delhi councelling. You can find application for JAC Delhi via jac website or through news.in case of OBC reservation there is a relation as per seat availability and you may end up getting admission with a lower rank than a gernal candidate in same course. the current admission process can be improved by providing a guide to the councelling as during counseling many students gets confused and end up getting scammed by the online fraudsters.
