Likes

It has big and lush green campus which is well maintained.
All sport facilities are available, groups and societies are active.
Placements and internship opportunities are really good.

Dislikes

Crowd here is not so good, students with very low rank also gets admission
There are very high number of monkeys, they attack frequntly
Research opportunities may not be up to the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum includes all the modules related to computer science like in aour 1st semester, we had programming fundamentals in which C programming was taught and web designing in which HTML and CSS were introduced. Faculty are moderately qualified. we have mid sem and end sem in whole semester and are easy to pass

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 229000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like amazon, samsung, etc comes for hiring interns with an avg stipend of 40,000 for different roles like junior developer, web developer, data analyst. Procedure includes coding round followed by technical interview followed by HR interview

Placement Experience

DTU provides great internship and placement opportunities. In CSE branch, Google, microsoft and every big tech company visits and offer good package, roughly 90% students get placed, rest go for higher courses, startups or government jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very high considering it is an govt. college. 2,29,000 for a year. Scholarship opportunities are there, you can fill scholarshop forms then an interview to get the scholarship. Job oopportunities are good, it is almost certain that you wll get a ajob on passing from this college

Campus Life

College life is one of the best here in DTU, it is the reason i chose DTU over NSUT and IIITD, Engifest is the cultural fest that goes for a week and one of the largest in north india. Clubs and groups are active and win many prizes in different tournaments

Student should be 12th passed, should have cleared cut-off for the course Application forms were filled online on jeemain.nta.ac.in Application fee is 1000rs for general Applications were accepted from 01 november 2023 to 30 november 2023

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
