Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty and curriculum of the college are very good and helpful . Faculty members are supportive towards students in every situation. There is a 60/40 pattern in academics, with 60 percent external and 40 percent internal. The syllabus is very difficult but the exam difficulty level is very easy. The exam are taken very often for the practice of students. The teaching method of teachers are very unique and easy to go.
Placement Experience
The palcement of DTU is very good 70% of students get placed . DTU Placements offers good salary packages to its students. The 2023 placement drive recorded the highest package of INR 82.05 LPA. It's average package is of 20 lakhs and lowest package 12lakhs. Companies like info edge ,Microsoft Adobe ,Zomato visit at time of placement. Student is eligible for placement from the 5th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of DTU is approximately 2,50,000 per year. And total approx cost will be between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 . FFE (Foundation for excellence ) awards a Scholarship amount of INR 40,000 to the student which can be used to cover tuition fees/hostel mess fees and books. The student has to renew their scholarship every year. Approximately 75% of students got placed in software engineering. The highest package is 75 LPA, the lowest is 15 LPA and the average package is around 22 LPA
Campus Life
DTU has a wide range of various clubs and associations for both students and staff. Like choir , art association etc. Also the DTU fest are a two day long fest with amazing environment. There is dance music drama events stalls and a perfect plan to hangout wit friends. Also the extra curricular activities are very happening. People should and can choose DTU over IIT and NIT is terms of campus life.
Admission
The eligibility for the BTECH course was you should have appeared in JEE MAINS and have scored atleast 75% and above. You must have physics and maths in your 10+2 with aggregate of 60% and above. The application form was out on the official page of DTU. Improvement that can be done there should be a way more than JEE and direct admission to get admission in the college
