Course Curriculum Overview
Currently I am in mathematics and computing branch.this branch has a bright scope in future that's why I choose this branch. In DTU there is 60% maths and 40% computer. If you have too much difficulties in maths it will be hard for you but not that hard.some faculty is good some are not. Depends upon professors.overall faculties I got are awesome.and to pass in exam or score a good cgpa you have to study before a week in mid sem and 2 weeks before end sem and you are good to go
Internships Opportunities
The companies do come here for internship. But not many students get intership. Only those who works hard. From the start are able to get it and that's fair by my side. Overall the intership opportunities are quite good
Placement Experience
The placement stats are good if you are targeting for tech placements. The average is 18+ lakhs..and for a core job the placements are average Not that good. More than 300 companies come in DTU and more than 80% students gets placed. Some do not and some Don't apply
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently the total course fee for btech in DTU is around 10 lakhs which is too much for a government University. And it's getting higher every year. This is a bad point about these universities. But there are many scholarships available. One is provide by DTU itself if you have income Below 4.5lakhs.
Campus Life
The one of the main plus point about studying in DTU is the campus life. The campus life is great I mean you enjoy too much.. there are many fests going around at one point you will be fed up.. but still you wanna enjoy more. There are tech fests , culture fests, any many more little fests you can enjoy.lets talk about someone who is enthusiastic in sports. Now you have every sports you can play in DTU ..there are cricket ground basketball ball court. And indoor game facilities
Admission
The admission process was smooth.for getting into DTU you have to score above 98%ile in jee mains for a computer science branch for a general candidate.you can check the cut offs in college duniya website according to your rank.after giving jee mains you have to go through jac Delhi counseling which consists DTU,NSUT,IIITD,DSEU . There are reservation benefits are available.
