Entrance Preview

I took Kerala state entrance test for engineering (KEAM). I didn't remember how much marks I got. The marks obtained was a composite score which was calculated using the 12th class marks and the entrance test marks. I opted for computer science and engineering and I got it which was what I wanted.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good but I wouldn't say best. A lot to improve. Faculty is good and is supportive.

Internships Opportunities

As an internship program we went to startup village in kochi kerala. But there was no stipend.

Placement Experience

Out of around 200 students around 60 were placed. The companies included Infosys, Cognizant(CTS), qburst , nest,IBM etc.

Our tech fest is good. And would definitely come in top 25 colleges on kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Don't know much about hostel fees and mess fees as I was a day scholar.but from friends I know that fees is not much and the atmosphere is good.

Campus life was great still miss those moments. There is always around 50-50% of male and female students. There are many extra curricular activities arranged in college

My Review about MDIT Kozhikode

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is excellent because it contains so many informative ideas and the practical lab is the best. I chose this course to get an idea about the civil engineering field and i m satisfied with it. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. The student ratio is very low. Faculties at our college are MTech holders and PHD also. There will be two series exams and one university exam in each semester and there are eight semesters in Btech.

An Overview of My College

I had applied to colleges under IHRD which includes the Model Engineering College, College of Engineering Chengannur and College of Engineering Attingal (CEAL) and College of Engineering Adoor. When the results of the first allotment came out, I got into CEAL. I temporarily got admission into that college and waited for the next allotment. I got into the college of Engineering Adoor in the second allotment and I took admission permanently since it was nearer to my place and I also got affordable hostel facilities. Also, there were good and on-time public transport services available. I got into the BTech Computer Science stream in the Merit Quota. To get admission in the first or second allotments themselves, you need a valid Keam score and rank anywhere between 15000 and 25000 atleast. You will be able to get into the merit quota with a good rank if not getting into the management quota is also easy. This is an oldest and well known Engineering College in Kerala since 1995. Initially it was under CUSAT University and by 2015 it was under Kerala Technical University. The Government College of Engineering, Adoor (CEA) is a college in Adoor, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala, India, located 3 km from the town centre at Manakala. It is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is run under the aegis of the Institute of Human Resources Development, an institute of the government of Kerala. The College was inaugurated in 1995 by the Chief Minister of Kerala A K Antony. College of Engineering Adoor is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
