Unveiling the Canvas of College Life of DTU

I choose CSE course because it is what I was most interested and I could get it here under my rank.The faculty student ratio is like 6:75 seems quite fine there is a proper way to control students records. Since in first semester are teacher are generally Assistant professors not having a lot many years of experience into teaching but they teaching is quite fine. Specially our engirreing drawing teacher using models to illustrate everything. proper ppts are shows via a projector to class for better understanding. Exams occur quite early here whch I guess is normal to most of the colleges nowadays.Exams were exams to go through if you study. Strict checking could be an issue but not that hard that we can't even pass.

Companies come for interships but this year there have been shortage due to recession. I think companies like tower reasearch,hyundai, TCS, etc. have given some interhsips but the numbers are quite low I am not sure but maybe around 50 for tech branches. I am not very sure of stipend but its like 50,000-1.5 lacs per month. Internships includes for roles like software development, Consultancy services, etc.

4th year generally have full time placements while 3rd year get preference for internship opportunities.There have been a lot many companies come but in recent times there have been a shortage because of recession thatshwhy even in tech the internships were less like 50.Companies like Cisco, Winzo, Google, microsoft, tower research etc. Highest packeage was around 80 lacs and average around 24 lacs.I think around 1800 students were placed. I am not clear what to do after degree but atleast I will get a job first.

The fees is quite high around 2 lac 30 thousand for forst year and an increase of ten thousand yearly. This seems quite high comapared to the education and the way we recieve it. Since its far from home so everday travlleling charges along with other charges makes the cost of study go really up. Although there have been various scholorship opportunities- one by college that is quite difficult to get, scholorship by private companies and government. MCM scholorship is something a lot of students look for but from past 2 years Delhi govt is not providing it to students which is a prblems to a lot many students. I am waiting for MCM so didn't got other scholorships as I don't think other scholorships would be that beneficial to me. Currently my parents pay my fees and I am not involved in any side hustle.

We have Annual fest- Engifest and and Techfest-Invictus and a literature fest- yuvaan in feb . There are plenty of books and journals in our library although quite of them are old and not in very good conditions but it works.Classrooms are well lit properly cleaned. Have whiteboards and projector facilties. There are proper working AC's and the furniture is also in good conditions. There aren't any dustbins in classrooms.There are a lot of sports like football, table tennis, badminton, cricket,volleyball, basketball like faciltiies. There is also a gym.extra curricular activities include arious activities involving students helping poor people living around and students govt colleges etc. Great support is there for business ideas among students. varuous clubs in all field we can think off is here like for debates- cognitive minds, robots- Sr-dtu, society related to AI and building products reakted to it- AIMS, society for business ideas and startups- E-cell, business bulls etc.

I cleared JEE mains and got 97.2 percentile and a rank of 32072 in exam. I was under OBC category which had a cutoff more than 50,000 for OBC. I took Btech in CSE course at Delhi technological university through JAC Delhi counselling. I got admission within the first round of counselling.The counselling satrted from 25th may and went till 25th june.The initial amount of 98000 was to be submitted at initial dates of counselling within 2-3 days. Everyhting was smooth. Although I uploaded everthing on jac delhi website correctly but if incase some student had uploaded some incorrect document by mistake there was no way to reupload the correct one.
