Likes

It is a beautiful campus and whether are good always.
Campus size is quite small so you can reach hostel to classroom in 4-5 minutes.

Dislikes

Hard to reach there but after USBRL it will be fixed

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because beggers can't be chooser.faculty student ratio is good.They all are PhD and masters but rarely you will found any teacher who is engineer.Exam are quite difficult but as all other engineering college you can pass only after studying 2 days.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

After 7th semester students are eligible to get placed. companies like Infosys,TCS visit campus regularly highest package was 42 lakh and avetage placement of college is 8 lakh.approx 75 %student got placed in civil branch and 130 % in CS branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure are good not a huge burden like other NIT You will get TFW if you belong to reserve category and family income is below 1 lakh or 5 lakh.Like other colleges campus placement are down this year.

Campus Life

There are two fest one is rang-e-chinar and other one is techgvanza. Fresher party and other holidays are celebrated usually.A decent library is there.clubs like semicolon are operated and organises various activities.

Hostel Facilities

Food quality is good as compared to other hostel and hostel wardens are very strict. Registration process is easy you can't take PG or Room outside the campus (srinagar IYKYK) Facility are good Room heater as well as AC are provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

For civil engineering in Nit Srinagar you have to pass the entrance test of jee main.Around 60k-85k rank is required.if you are belongs to OBC NCL and your family income is less than 8 lakh then your tution fee will discounted.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

Overview of NIT SRINAGAR

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
