Remarks

BAD THINGS IN OUR COLLEGE IS NOT PROPER MANAGEMENT. BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS IN THE WORLD BUT NOT FOR STUDY. EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.

Entrance Preview

THE ENTRANCE EXAM I WRITE WAS JEE MAINS. THROGH FLIGHT FROM JAMMU TO SRINAGAR. NO, THEIR IS NO INTERVIEW PROCESS. I AM VERY MUCH INSPIRED FROM MY BROTHER.

Course Curriculum Overview

IT WAS EXCELLENT. OUR 90 % FOCUS IS ON THE PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE. OUR COLLEGE PROVIDE MANY RESEARCH INITIATIVES REGARDING ICE STUPA ETC.

Internships Opportunities

YES, OUR COLLEGE PROVIDE THE INTERNSHIPS. IT WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE . THE AVERAGE STIPEND AMOUNT WAS NEARLY AROUND 1800 PER MONTH.

Placement Experience

IT WAS GOOD ONE .85 % OF STUDENTS GOT PLACED. IBM, ADOBE, TEKSYSTEM, MYNTRA,TATA MOTORS, MU SIGMA, VEDANATA, THESE ARE THE MAJOR ONES. 5 LPA IS THE AVERAGE PACKAGE

College Events

TECHVAGANA, ANNUAL FEST, FRESHERS, FAREWELL ETC. IT WAS VERY BIG EVEN ALL OVER THE INDIA COLLEGE STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THESE FESTS. IT WAS GOOD AND YES, THE COLLEGE AUTHORITES CONTRIBUTE IN THAT.

IT WAS NOT MUCH AFFORDABLE AS IT WAS A CENTRAL GOVERNMENT RECOGNISED INSTITUTE, IT NEEDS TO BE CUT IT DOWN. OUR 1 YEAR TUTION FEF IS 1.5 LAKH

YES, COLLEGE PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS. NO, I DIDN'T AVAIL ANY.

NATIONAL LEVEL SPORTS WILL PLAYED IN OUR CAMPUS. YES, I WAS IN INTER -NIT SPORTS TEAM. THE FACILITES PROVIDED BY US IS VERY GOOD .

Hostel Facilities

IN ROOM NO. 189 , JHELUM HOSTEL. WE ALL HAVE A SINGLE ROOMS . NO, OUR CAMPUS DON'T HAVE ANY PGs FACILITY. WE NEED TO PAY RS. 15000 PER SEMESTER(FOR 6 MONTH). IT WAS NOT GOOD FOR PROPER HEALTH.

IT WAS GOOD. YES, THEY PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR THE INTERACTION.YES, I WILL GIVE ONE NAME THAT IS SONAM WANGCHUK.

Exam Structure

YES, IN WINTER NO ONE IS ABLE TO DO ANYTHING , BUT WE STILL MANAGE TO DO OUR EXAMS AND LABS IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER. IT MAKES US FEEL TIRED EVERYDAY.

Faculty

THE FACULITY IS VERY MUCH QUALIFIED AND THEY HAVE 15-16 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF TEACHING. THEY ARE MUCH INTERACTIVE AS THEY CORELATE ALL THE THINGS THEY TEACH US WITH OUR DAILY LIFE WORK. TEACHING STANDARD IS DAMN HIGH .

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

Dislikes

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction

Overview of NIT SRINAGAR

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . Coming to Admission Process , It is very Simple and easy Process . You just have have to come here in Campus Once you get Alloted a seat in NIt srinagar and everthing will be very easy. NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
