What Students Say

Likes

I liked the overall crowd and the faculty
Else the campus is also great to roam around
The sports culture is great and u can enjoy the time here

Dislikes

I disliked the hard academics here and hectic
You are not left free for a long time to excell.
The placements here are good but not great.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The exams here are almost every month academics here is a little hectic. You have to work a little to get good cgpa. There are 3 term exams with 2 practical tests. Passkng here is not a very very big deal it is simple.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The projects we did here were on c and cpp. They were hotel management app type. And other was a dating app type where we could chat and see profiles we like and interact with each other. We also did a robo car.

Placement Experience

My plans are little different i need to do upsc and get into the bureaucracy of our country. You also can aspire for extra things as there have been people in past who excelled in there non btech career.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship provided by the college and it is a little expensive.I have am in 2nd year and the placements are good the seniors have told this to us. They have got a 8 to 12 lpa jobs without much hardwork and highest have been 1 cr to off campus.

Campus Life

There are many social groups and societies and clubs but in 62 campus u get time to get involved in the programs. The seniors are cooperative and there are good students to learn with them and enjoy and have fun.

Hostel Facilities

There are localities all around the college and the expenses comes to be 1 lakh aproxx in flats and 6 k per month in pg. The 128 campus is hectic avoid going there if u getting a better college. Else it is a good college to come in.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

The admission process can be done totally online like josaa and csab. The admission process is very long and consumes whole day. You have to travel and come to college and it almost takes the whole day.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I applied to the northcap university in gurgaon and i was selected there but after talking to students there and looking at the average package of the college i chose jiit being it close to metro station also it is in a good location too. Main reason was fro choosing jiit was also that i didn't had good jee rank to get accepted in the good government colleges. i also got into ipu but again the placements stats influenced me alot...Read More
