College Diary - the Unforgettable days!

I fond of interacting with people and wanted to explore out of the India always. So i found this better way of doing Hotel Management where i could utilize my skills. Faculty were really educated and passionate towards teaching. Each and every teaching faculty were fulfilled with particular stream knowledge. Both teaching non-teaching faculties were dedicated and passionate so they motivated me a lot. I had different subjects and there were a separate skillful teacher for teaching the particular subjects. Teaching methods were great as well. They are masters in specific subject and eligible to conduct practicals accordingly. Term exams were to be conducted semester wise(6 months). There is Industrial Training in 3rd semester for 6 months. You can apply for the internship in 5 star hotels all over india as well as abroad. Getting passed is not that much difficult but we should have studied really very well because we need to improve our communication skills at our level best.

Students become eligible from 5th semester for campus placements. Hyatt, Radison Blu, The Fern, The Lalit, Holiday inn, JW Marriot, Trident, Ramada, Novotel, The Orchid, Westin etc plenty of companies visited. There is around 2.5 LPA average and 4LPA highest package as per company and profiles offered in India as begginer and around 6LPA to 10LPA in Abroad. About 85% of students get placements through campus every year. I have done my degree in 2017 and moved to abroad though campus. I had spent around six years in three countries as an employee yet. My future plan is being self employed in the same industry.

It is really the cheapest and best course fees policy. I used to pay 50k per year now it would be increased till 1lakh per year(probability). It includes practicals also. College provides food material,alcoholic mterial,cleaning equipments according to the practicals. There is only concession on fees according to the criteria. I had got in Radisson Blu,Amritsar through campus with stipend. Got another job in Oman through campus as well.

The annual fest is really an amazing at campus. We used to create a different theme at that night. Food were prepared very deliciously by us according to the theme. Four core departments were divided among of the students according to the area of interests. Cultural program used to conduct as well where students were opened up to show their hidden talent. Library is really well organised with needy and useful books. Journals are provided by campus accordingly. Presentation equipments,projectors,podium,centralized air conditioner are provided in the classrooms as amenities. Intra as well as inter college sports are held in the campus. Dahi handi,colour festival,birth and death anniversaries of revolutionaries as well as historical icons,students birthday celebrations,quiz competition,food carving,cocktail-mocktail competition etc curricular activities are done in the campus.

My college name is Sahyadri College of Hotel Management and Tourism. Its a bachelor degree course of 3 years so eligibility is 12th pass in any stream. Application forms are found in the college and can get all the information in the college after visiting. We can track it online as well. Reservations are allowed only for SC cast. The fees would be around 14000per year among of 50000. No need to see improvement in the admission process.
