The college clubs and activities which enhances the mind of student
The library containg enormous number of books
The department and faculties are student friendly

The campus does not promote much sports.
The college hostel is at a distance from the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams were conducted by Mahathma Gandi University Kotayam. The sems are 4 - 5 months long . Exams are conducted after the months . The examinations and application based and are helpful for external examination.

Internships Opportunities

The students can apply to external intenships. The teachers are helpful in applying for internships. The college is a centre for NIST where the students and research students can complete their projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The nationalised and state scholarships are promoted by the college. National Merit scholarship, post matric , central sector scholarships are promoted by the college. State scholarships are also given . The Department goves scholarships to students with excellent academic brilliance.

The clubs like nature club film club are promeoted by the college to encourage the social activities of the student. The library is abundant with sufficient books for reference. Also library have books for both entertainment and reading purposes.

Admission

The admission can be done through entrance tests. And further interviews should make the candidate eligible for studies. The admission can be done independently . A centralised allotment process should be doscouraged.

Likes

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

Dislikes

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

Unforgettable Memories

Likes

Good atmosphere and good building. Play ground is very big.
Students are very respective. We are going to study tours.
Visit students houses. Participating in our classmates marriage function.

Dislikes

College is so far from bus stop. In a strange area
No canteen in the college compound. Water availability isbless
So many steps to reach in my classroom. Auto availability is less

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is beneficial to those students are need more knowledge. Curriculum is relevent to higher education and other competitive exams. It is back bone of all students those study well. Nice course

Admission:

Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.

Positive Remarks: 1) Good placement opportunities 2) Gives plenty of internship opportunities 3) Good faculties 4) Gives updated courses 5) Helps to learn new things Negative Remarks : 1) Faculties uses their juniors to complete portions before exams

I take admission in the year 2022 through mgu cap. Our college is aided so, comparatively less fees than other self financing colleges.
