What Students Say

Likes

The hostel life and the facilities provided.
You get to meet a lot of diverse people.
The annual fests in the college are the best.

Dislikes

The hostel rooms are double sharing rooms.
The mess food could be improved much more
The campus is so big that you have to walk a lot

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course based on my All India Rank. To me, the college mattered more than the branch. The faculty is very highly qualified here with most of them having PhDs from the top colleges like MIT and Stanford.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of companies visit for internships. The highest packages go as high as 15 lakhs per month in HFT roles. There are unpaid offers as well so those are the lowest packages. Wide diversity in the companies.

Placement Experience

Placement starts in the pre final semester for all students. The placements are good and most students get placed. The highest packages go as high as about 3 CR per annum. The lowest ones are about 6LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a Rs.1 lakh tuition fee and around 25,000 rupees of hostel fees + 20,000 of mess fees per semester. There are multiple different scholarships available and the process is streamlined through the web portals.

Campus Life

Life is very chill here with world class infrastructure and all imaginable facilities for the students. Mood Indigo is the cultural fest and Techfest is the technical fest. Both happen in December towards the end of the month.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are slightly small. They are double sharing rooms and there are two beds, a table, a chair, a cupboard and a shelf provided inside. The meals from the mess are alright. It takes some time to get used to it

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

The entrance exam was JEE-Advanced. I took admission in the chemical department for which the opening All India rank was around 1200 and closing rank was around 2500. The application process happens on the JosA portal

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
