I chose this course because I have always been interested in the field of computer science and technology. I believe that with the rapid advancement in technology, it is important to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. This course offers in-depth knowledge of various programming languages, algorithms, and data structures which will help me to be a skilled software developer. Moreover, the hands-on experience and practical projects included in the course will enable me to apply the concepts I learn to real-world situations. Hey there! Typically, students become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester of their program. As for the companies that visited our campus, there were quite a few. Some of the notable ones were Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, and Infosys. In total, there were around 50 companies that visited our campus last year and made a total of 500 job offers. Regarding the highest and average package, it varied from company to company and the profile offered. For instance, Google offered the highest package of Rs. 35 lakhs per annum, while the average package across all companies was around Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. The profiles offered ranged from software developer to business analyst, and from marketing executive to human resource manager. In terms of the percentage of students getting placements, I believe it was around 90%. The college also has smart classrooms that have advanced technological tools to facilitate learning. Our college encourages students to engage in sports and extra-curricular activities. There are various sports facilities available on the campus such as a cricket ground, football field, basketball court, and a gymnasium.
