Not a bad experience

Civil engineering is the course I thought to opt as I am interested in planning , designing and I am not interested in software jobs at the time of joining and faculty for civil engineering are Ph.D. professionals and we have separate labs for every subject which have labs and the exams are difficult for civil branch the subjects are problematic type calculation part is present in many subjects.

Placements are not good this year and actually, placements start from 3rd-year 2nd sem but this year the placements came from 4th-year 1 sem and the placed students are fewer. TCS Accenture CTS Wipro Capgemini Greenko VIrtusa Wells Fargo IBM Stellantis Zellis many companies visit every year this year companies which are recruiting are less and many students are opting for higher studies if they are not placed.

The fee structure is 75000 for our batch as I am eligible for fee reimbursement by the state government I pay only 5000 remaining 70000 is paid by the government and the fee and donation for management quota are also less compared to other branches and pulla reddy scholarship is present for some topper students. Sem toppers are provided with cash awards for every sem.

The library consists of many books and we can get books from library 2 days in a week at the allocated time and less fests are conducted in our college and sports and extra curricular activites are present and many forums and students clubs are present and we have activites on wednesday by student clubs and NSS VSS extracurricular activities on saturday NSS vivekananda study circle ,yoga activities are part of curriculum.

The hostel food is not too good and the fee I pay for a hostel is 65000 for 1st year and 60000 for next year and we have a separate block for freshers and seniors and hostel registration is done at the college we have both girls and boys hostel. Girls hostel has water problems and the hostel is strict. we need permission for everything We have an outing every Sunday and hostel day is celebrated grandly. Many PGs are available for boys and girls.

I opted for this college through APEAMCET I got a 36k rank and I opted for civil engineering as this college is well reputated in our locality. We need to provide the documents like aadhar tc marklist at the time of joining and for freshers registration is done at the administration block.
