The nature and studies people midset also the about the hostel how to manage everything . Even the festival here and clubs extra curricular activities and many more . Enough ground and courts for people who are interested in sports . The college is v
Very spacious and sets a good time table for students and also for beginners. Coming to the campus life it's very good.
According to my knowledge there are good placements for students(seniors) and above 80% are placed .

Dislikes

The mess food . And college wifi is very restricted
The long distance from college to hostel .
The singal issue for students . We are unable to talk on phonecalls even

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested in taking this course from my 11th standard onwards and there is a good scope and better placements in CSE . There is only 1 lecture and 69 students . Many faulty lectures are very well qualificated with phds and some are nits also . The teaching is good and avg . It is based on the student who want to concerate they can easily get by this lectures. There is 1 mid and 1 sem . for lab oriented subjects there lab exams also . It is okay to pass the subjects not so difficult as per now . If you concentrate well it is okay to pass .

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many fee structures based on the course ,the rank the accuried and the place of the college. In my course there are slabs if the rank is below 500 you can get 1st slab the fee for 1st slab is 1lakh and below 1000 and above 500 is 2lakhs and slab 3 is below 1500 rank students the fee is 2.75 lakhs and around 2k ranked students are under slab4 it's 3.25 lakh and above 2k is non category slab it's not a scholarship slab it's near 4 lakhs . This are the fee structures in my college and it changes according to the college places . College ranks also Merit based scholarship, I am still studying

Campus Life

It is good and secure for students . The social life is perfect according to me and there are many clubs we can join any of them if wanted . An annual fest is Vidyut and many month fest based on the festival. There are many books in library and many refered journals . Any books are available there . The classroom is good . Spacious and not AC rooms but it's ok . Many speed fans and smart board even . There are many sport games and tourments conducted . Sports like football, cricket, volleyball, shuttle, kho-kho,kabadi and many more games . And many extra curricular activities for students intrested. There are clubs like amfoss , bios , acm and ayudh etc

Admission

First of all admission process is easy anyone can to it . Yes I took an entrance exam for Amrita . The cutoff is based on what rank you scored in the exam and for different branches there will be different cutoff my college cutoff for my course is around 1500 to 2000 rank below members The eligibility of the course to write the exam is 12th pass . The application can be found in Google easily . There will be a detail explaintion of course and there fees in the site only There are reservation benefits for our college sc and st . The sc student can get easy seat It is good for the admission process but only small improvement is required like it took so long to complete the phase and took lot of time to join in the college.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

When choosing a college several factors played a role in my decision to select Amma the Vishwa vidyapeethum campus from my cyber security program over other institutions applied to. Compared with other colleges I applied to 1. VIT Vellore 2. BITS Pilani 3. SRM institute of science and technology Amrita has an excellent repetition for its faculty in cyber security. The professors are experienced and have a strong academic background along with industry exposure which was highly appealing to me. Including well accepted cyber security lapse. These lamps focus on practical penetration testing ,network security ,and ethical hacking. Amrita amrutapuri is situated in a peaceful coastal area offering a conductive environment for studies the campus life is lively with several extra curricular and co curricular activities that I found very attractive. I got seat in gitam , vit,srm I choose Amrita because of the excellent,on date circulum they provide, they have wonderful clubs with lots of funding ,and how can I forget abt vidyut , a multi national tech fest where PPL from different clgs attend and we spend 1 crore on that ,so just imagine how big and grand the fest cud be And in other colleges the students are so many ..like these thousands of students , here it is peaceful and full of greenary Aeee and jee are exams we can get through in ...
