What Students Say

Likes

Experienced faculty members who help the students in studies.
The criteria of 75% attendence which is fine.
The infrastructure is good and all classrooms are air conditioned and projector based classes also.

Dislikes

The syllabus is not fully covered by the faculty.
There placements are not good enough here.
The canteen here does not open regularly sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i want to pursue B.tech engineering and I am interested in Computer Science . The course curriculum is fine. There will be total of 6 subjects in first year. The faculty here is good. The qualification of the teachers is PhD. The teachers are experienced and good at teaching and help every student to understand the topics clearly. The term exams is very timely and the level of exam is moderate.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure here is Rs1,20,000 in the first year and Rs1,13,000 for the remaining 3 years of B.tech engineering course. There are opportunities for Scholarships also for the Ews, OBC, SC and ST students. The average placement pakage is 3.5 LPA and there are jobs opportunities in job fair also which is held in Ipu main campus. The Campus and all classrooms are fully air conditioned and Wifi.

Campus Life

The life at the Campus here is good. Everyone is friendly and the faculty is very helpful to the students. There are annual fests held here like Anugoonj, Spring fest, and Hackathon for the Tech Fest. There is a common Library where books by different writers on all subjects are available. The Library is air conditioned and the PC is also available for e-books and surfing for studying purposes. There are annual sports meets held every year.

Admission

The mode of application is online and was easy. First you have to appear in JEE Mains entrance exam. Then you have to register in Ipu application form. The registration opens after the Jee Mains result. The seat will be allotted by Ipu after the registration process and the fees of registration will be Rs2000. When the seat is alloted you have to pay the college fee of Rs60,000 and rest of the fee you can pay later during the admission.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%
