What Students Say

Likes

Campus Decoration, the Mechanical Lawn, The Rose Garden
Centre of Excellence, IDEA Lab, Skills Development Center

Dislikes

Hostel facility, Mess Food, Bathroom facilities (in hostels as well as in Departments)
Lack of Activities, Lack of facilities for sports (esp. for girls)

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I wanted to go into Oil and gas industry so, chose Chemical Engineering. The faculties are quite good and supportive. There are 4 faculties in total for this department and around 20 students. The teaching is average. Exams and tests are conducted in a little rush but easy to pass, if the student is an average learner.

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 155000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

For my batch, Campus placements are not really in their best position, core companies are very less, esp., for civil, chemical and mechanical branch. Package and percentage are just decent. I plan to go for higher studies, in case I am not able to get a placement or instead I'll go with the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Recently for my batch (2020-2024), there was an undesirable and sudden hike in registration fees (from 1570/- to 3000/-) and also in the hostel fees (144000/- to 156000/-). The hostels are really not that worth it, Hygiene and food and facilities none of them are worth it. I didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life

Annual fest is just average, not really uptomark. The college activities are really dull and boring so is the campus life. The scopes of creativity and sports are really low. The enthu and participation is also very less.

Hostel Facilities

The girls hostel now starts with 6-seated room, and goes up to 3-seated AC rooms, gradually with increasing price. Bathrooms remain same, no personal bathroom. Mess food is not good at all, the bathrooms are not spacious or well-lit. The in-time is 6.00pm. Also there are too many restrictions in the hostel, it's really hectic to get a home pass or outpass, the process is not simple at all. So, yes, I rented a room outside.

Hostel Fee: INR 144000 per year

Admission

I appeared in the OJEE exam, and on that basis, I got entry into this college, however, I did not get any scholarships. The application form can be found on the college website. The college provides scholarships to international students through the University's exam and also provides scholarships to financially weaker students through the government schemes.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

I chose CV Raman Global University over some other colleges I applied to mainly because it offered my preferred course with reasonable fees, decent infrastructure and an acceptable placement record. I had also applied to a few government and well-known private colleges, but I could not secure admission there due to higher cutoffs, strong competition and rank limitations in entrance exams. Compared to those colleges, CVRGU provided quicker confirmation, flexible admission timelines and a clear course structure, which made the decision easier. The admission process was smooth and student-friendly, based on eligibility criteria like minimum marks in Class 12 for UG courses, and it accepts exams such as JEE Main along with merit-based admissions. Most students prefer JEE Main, though cutoffs are moderate compared to top-tier colleges. Overall, the admission experience was straightforward, with proper guidance from the admission office and minimal complications....Read More

Comparing to different colleges such as iter or kiit universities then here you get good opportunity to participate in different clubs and show off their skill infront of the officials . Talking about placements then student will get fair opportunity but the thing is that if your score is less than 60% in 10th or 12th then you were not eligible for the campus drive .
