SRMU from my eyes.

College can be made more good by some simple decision and little actions. It is good but not up to the mark. College management is average . One will have to consider this fact too that university is very new and is still under development and construction , I look forward to it. And I believe it will be one of the best institution.

I gave UPTU entrance exam ,the score was decent , rank was around 2000. I chose B.tech over other courses because of my curiosity towards technology , it makes me feel excited. I opt for this particular college because it is accessible to me, my parents did not wanted me to go out of city so it became a decent option , at just an hour distance from home . It is also top 15th pvt. University acc to a magazine . It has a sort of name in this area and studies are far better than any outher private college in Lucknow.

Course curriculum is just like any other college of UP. The course structure is okay not good , and there is no focus on research , not at all. All you will be teached and told to get good marks , that's it. They will squeeze every drop from you by problem set , university test, and of course end sem. You go to the class , teacher will come , will do its part of course completion and will leave.

I think yes it provides , but since I have just passed 1st year I do not have adequate knowledge about that. But yes if iI talk about what seniors say , then yes they do provide. Their experiences were average , it was like a kind of formality that the college has to just do. No talks of innovation no encouragement for innovation , you just go and watch them. Companies like NTPC , steel companies etc came . And it is not like you will be given notice for that you will have to keep a keen eye on the admin notice board , they don't care if you miss it . I can give a better n more accurate review in this column when i myself experience it, the procedure the money and other things. Till then i have this much only.

Placement is average , you will be lucky if you get a job in college placement. Job opportunities are less than that shown in advertisement. You will have to make all possible efforts for that. Companies do come for placement but very few are placed. Till dade 115+ companies have visited university for recruitment . Companies like oracle, L&T construction, SAP ,ITC, JK tyres ,HCL , HT media ,Amazon , SRDT ,TCS , JIO , Indusind bank , 93.8 FM ,Directi , Biogenuix etc are some of the group recruiters . They also have global linkages and Industrial tie-ups with University of western Sydney , AIT , AIMA ,FICCI , UPTEC , CII , Regenysis buisness school ,NHRO , KMPG. There are more than 97% placement in diploma , 75 %placement opportunity in B.tech ,more than 98% placement in MBA and more than 70% placement in Media studies. The average package offered is 6.7 lacks per anum. Companies like amazon ,TCS , HCL and Jio have offered packages of 8.6 lacks , 7.8 lacks 8.8 lacks and 6.9 lacks respectively.

Coming to events , SRMU celebrates many festival and events . Technical fest like robo marathon , international literature festivals , TED x events , sports tournaments , Fashion shows , Dance face offs , singing shows etc . Then annual fest is called Anubhooti and it is celebrated grand , celebrities like Shaan , kavita krishna murthy etc have performed . It is big to participate in them , annual fest goes 7 days and it is all fun and energy.

Fee is not very expensive , it is feasible and reasonable , and less than other private universities . I am a B.tech student so my ler anum fee is 117500. You can give all amount at once angmd get 5%discount or can give in installments. There is extra 5000 as caution money which will be returned when you'll graduate .

Yes you can take study loans from bank in the name of college easily. College itself does not have any good scholarship , the only money they give you is if you have scored 90%. N above in 12th , then you will be getting a discount of 10000. Thats it. The only scholarship students can avail is the govt. Scholarship.

Campus life is good but not up to the mark .The gender ratio in good . There is a very little diversity as most of the students and teachers are from Lucknow only. Extra curricular activities like sports , workshop , debate , robotics etc are good and are conducted with great energy and student do take part with enthusiasm. There is very less student politics and no discrimination in any basis. The qulity of canteen food is not up to the mark and the experience too. It is an average campus and average campus life.

College seniors are way more helpful and interactive than I thought they would be. They help you when possible and talk with you smoothly and do not show their seniority. There is no ragging.

Exam structure is a bit rigirous . You will get tired and sick of them . Every 2 weeks there us an exam. Labs are there but they are very boring and no innovation and nothing , just go and to as told and go back. You will definitely get hectic at the end of the day. Exam structure is like this .They will be 4 university test and 1 end -sem exam per semester .this means you will have to give 5 exams per subject per semester excluding the surprise tests and labs. You will feel grinded between UT , PS , ST , lab , and class. The exam structure is designed in such a way that you can easily pass out without back in subject .There is 40 marks internals and 60 marks end-sem.

Getting admission here is no big deal , since it is a pvt university you can just go and fill the form and submit the fee either all or in installments before seats get occupied. All you have to do is go in admission cell , take the form , fill it , submit your 10 th , 12th marksheet , adhaar card copy , TC ,address proof , migration certificate , along with 15 empty envelope and 30 passport size pics. Then submit the form , after they will call you for verification and once the verification is done and all the required documents are submitted you can submit the fee and you are admitted . No entrance exam , no interview , no marks of your previous class matters , no rank or marks of the entrance exam you gave matters . Go fill form , verify , submit fee and you're in.
