KIET diary

I have chosen this course as I can see the future computer science and engineering and also the recognition of artificial intelligence in industry. I am fascinated by seeing the way we can talk to machines, where we have to program and talk to make machines work by providing them a specific code and due to these specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. This well defined course prepares me for dealing with real life problems such as to automate anything which is being done manually from several years, here we can use our concepts of automation, scripting, programming, etc. Improvement is required in fields such as course curriculum which is totally outdated and is not being used in industry anymore. Here teaching methods which teachers use are not up to the mark, but if they can interact with each and every student and discuss with them their problems. Exams are taken on regular intervals like class test, mid term, University examination, etc

Tuition fees is one which may or may not be affordable for an individual depending upon his/her financial stability. Here, fees for a normal person is rupees one lakh thirty eight thousand which will be rupees one lakh thirty five thousand every year, where if we are able to get a fee waiver seat then fees comes down to rupees thirty thousand only. Complete cost of my education, inclusive of tuition, service fees, and other compulsory charges is rupees four lakh forty thousand only. There are several scholarships available for girls as well as for boys, like the one is as per the national scheme "beti bachao beti padhao" under which according to the selected course girl students get a monthly stipend of rupees ten thousand to fifty thousand and for boys also national and state level schemes are available which provide a monthly stipend of rupees eight thousand to twenty thousand. Campus employments are also a source of survival for financially weak students where they can earn stipend

Here in KIET I have made a lots of memories with my friends and till now I have attended a lot of fests over here, where my first experience was of my freshers celebration party that is Frescos'23 which was very exhilarating, here in this event I danced and enjoyed with my friends a lot I have also experienced innotech'23 our annual technical fest where different teams came to showcase their projects and skills, I must also share some exciting moments about epoque'23 which is our annual cultural fest and is conducted in the month of April. Here facilities and technological provisions are good as clubs are very active and our innovation centre is properly equipped with modern day technologies and classrooms are also equipped with smartboard and projector. Sports culture is also very good here, teams over here are very active in participating in different sports event, here basketball courts are also good. Here are different clubs for different activities and social work and involvement.

First of all we have to apply for an entrance exam known as joint entrance examination which can be applied through national testing agency website and when the results are declared for joint entrance examination, we are supposed to search for website like (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Council) from here we will be able to fill the form for choice filling and choice locking where we have to fill our choices according to our preferences, where we have to choose Kiet as a preference. Here application fees is Rs 1000, and application dates may vary from time to time as per situation. Here reservation is based upon caste based reservation and income based reservation that is general, general (economically weaker section) where you may get a reservation of ten percent, other backward classes where you may get a reservation of ten percent, scheduled castes, scheduled Tribes.
