Likes

The professor are very helpful and cooperative
The campus is very clean and infrastructure is also good

Dislikes

Very small campus and the infrastructure is very bad
The placement are not so good in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast covering every topic of the course. However, there are a few subjects which are not relevant to our course like the basics of mechanical engineering, biology, economics, etc. The teaching methods are also good

In 7th internship we have practice school where we have 6 monthly internships in companies like TCS, INFOSYS, and PWC where uh have to learn about corporate work and on the basis of that, if you are good in coding then you will get the pre-placement offers

The placement is bad in silicon.The minimum package is 3-4 lac and the highest package is 28lac.companies like PWC,TCS, Infosys came to college.Mostly mass recruitment took place.There is also pre placement offers available in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is 1lac 75 thousand per annum.Now the price has been increased.for further details plz check the website for tuition fees and hostel fees.There is no as such scholarship for students.However u can apply for state scholarship portal or national scholarship portal in e medhabruti

Campus Life

There is two main annual fest ,one is zygon and the other one is rhythmnova.It is held in the end of December and February.There is also sports facilities available here like cricket,football,two basketball court,two badminton court ,etc

Admission

The eligibility is that we have to give jee main exams on the basis of the rank u will get admission in Silicon and the minimum eligibility is that in 10th and 12th, a minimum of 60% is required. yes there are reservation benefits for backward classes

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Best college in Bhubaneswar

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Likes

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Dislikes

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including
Must of faculty members are belongs to home state

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
