Entrance Preview

I took Karnataka entrance test ( KCET) and I got 53000 ranks and also it was near to my place and college reputation was good, so that's why I took this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The entrance test for admission is very easy. You just have to score well in your graduation and have good communications skills to get selected in the Group discussion. After which the final round of interview takes place. Also, there is a process of counseling after the selection.

Internships Opportunities

NO INTERNSHIP was provided from college that would be absolutely zero percentage,

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements for our senior batch was not ao good as not many IT companies or MNC companies visited our college, most of the companies visited where BPO companies.

College Events

3

The workshops, industry visits, events, etc., are also helpful for those who want to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field. Events that take place in the college are Freshers' party, farewell, Ethnic Day and the college Fest( MALLIKA) , which is the biggest event of the year as we host a bunch of activities related to the world of fashion and there are other activities like DELTA(TECHNICAL EVENT)

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is feasible and they also give installments for the ones who are unable to pay the fees within the deadline because of some financial problems. Fees for the course is 40,000 per year. It is very less as compared to other colleges even when the infrastructure is so good and they maintain their legacy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to students with X factor. They are provided a relaxation from the registration amount Scholarship has to be given to students with extra meritorious skill.

Campus Life

4

The course stood up to my expectations. The training was very practical and we were given a lot of experience in regards to the real-work problem. we made friends and every day was a learning experience with them. I am thankful to my mentors who guided me through the course.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always helpful. And the alumni's are always invited as a guest during any workshops or event's. The Alumni of GMIT is placed at such good companies, they come to the campus to deliver lectures on current issues as well as the related topics.

Exam Structure

Exams are fun. We have to appear for the exams after submitting the assignments, live projects with our groups, and some other conceptual tasks. The format for the admission into this course is to clear the entrance exam first. The format for the admission into this course is to clear the entrance exam first.

Admission

I took Karnataka entrance test ( KCET) and I got 53000 rank and also it was near to my place and college reputation was good, so that's why i took this college. The notification regarding the college admission was released and i went with all my documents to get admitted to the college and paid the admission fees as mentioned.

Faculty

3.5

I would say My Experience with the faculty was somewhat good and helpful and also somewhat not good. The faculty of the department is all qualified but when it comes to the knowledge they lag behind. If questions anything outside the syllabus is asked becomes really hard for them to elaborate the thing. The teaching methods used were good from my perspective, the interaction between teachers and students were also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
