from starting of 3 year students become eligiblw for campus placements . companies like bcg, microsoft, google , arsceium, jefferies and all types of companies visits the univerwisty. as far no batch has been placed as it is a new university which will have placements from next year, but we have an one year course after which has an average package of 15 lakhs and highest waa 41 lKHS

Fees and Financial Aid

3.6 lakhs is the tution gfees per semester and hostel fees is 72 thousdand per semester which does not includes mess fee and there are more than 70 percent students are on scholarship and financial aid whcih ranges from 25 to 100 % fees waiver

Campus Life

EVERY year hack plaksha happens whcih consists fo many coolstuff , mainly teams have to make a product or an app within 2 days on domain given by the oragnising team. library consists of all variety of books and e books and acces s to jsrtor thprugh which we can access research papers all over the world

Admission

students first need to fill an application form which i starts from december and has 5 rounds of admission . application form consists of esssay writing extra co cirriular activities and your score from 9 grade and other papers and all. after your application is aacpeted by a borad members you are then selected for intveriew round and after passing the inyerview round you get the offer letter

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

The college was recommended to me by my physics professor after my mother said no to go abroad. I applied to HKUST and even get an offer from them, however, I had to settle for Plaksha as I did not have scope to give entrance exams of other private universities .
