Remarks

A proactive management. They listen well to the grievances of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Very rigorous. Good focus on research and development. A good balance between theory and lab classes. Great emphasis on research is placed. The course curriculum is divided into 8 semesters. The first 2 semesters are common for all branches. In the 7th and 8th semesters, we get to choose electives as well.

Internships Opportunities

No internship is provided. Though some companies do visit the campus they do not provide internships at all. That is a negative aspect of the college.

Placement Experience

4

Very good placements and job opportunities. 1200 out of 1300 eligible students were placed. Companies like Google, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, ZS Associates, BCG, BCC, RBS, Amazon, Flipkart came for the recruitment. The highest package was 30 lakhs and the minimum of 4 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

Engifest, Cultural Fest, Alumni meet, society fest, management fest. They are held in the months of February and March and the preparations for the same begin in the month of December by the committees. The committees have 50 members each and great participation is there of around 500 students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are among the least for engineering colleges in India. The fees are Rs. 1,05,000 per annum for general category students and Rs. 24,000 for Sc/ST/OBC students. Fees structure is feasible. Total fees structure is RS. 4,20,000 for the entire course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships for 1st and 2nd department rank holders. Apart from that, scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students.

Campus Life

4

The good number of clubs both related to extra-curricular as well as technical clubs. The gender ratio in these societies is 2:1 (males: females) and they promote inclusivity as well. Workshops and dorm parties are a prominent feature as well. People of all races and religions are accepted in these societies.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are very resourceful and helpful in guiding their fellow alumni in various fields. They help in getting internships in the relevant fields as well as in switching of jobs.

Exam Structure

Semester system. One set of mid-seems followed by end-seems. The structure was well prepared and was not hectic at all. Students were comfortable with the frequency of labs as well. Exams and labs were not very frequent and it was pretty chilled out. Total 12 hrs lab/week and 32 hrs lectures/week.

Admission

JEE Mains, followed by various rounds of counselling.Form was procured online from the website of DTU, the notification is released in the month of June. Administration was helpful and cooperative in their approach. 4 rounds of counselling were held i.e. 4 merit lists were released followed by a spot round to fill the remaining seats.

Faculty

3.5

Good faculty. Highly qualified, most have Ph.D.'s, interested in teaching and research. They create inquisitiveness in the minds of students and urge them to think deeply. Faculty to students ratio is also good 25:1. Faculty come from different parts of the country and are selected after a rigorous interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
