Hostels here are well maintained in terms of basic amenities.

Dislikes

Food in the mess will seem to be declining as you move to a senior hostel.

The course structure here follows the AKTU syllabus prescribed by the state government of UP which is followed by all the good government colleges falling under state government. It is very relevant to the University Exams and is up to date with the curriculum.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

College does not provide on-campus internship opportunity but the Placement Cell communicates every information related to any open internship opportunity with every student through e-mails and WhatsApp groups. It keeps encouraging students to be active and apply for all the coming opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

College has it's own Placement Cell which co-operates with companies and invite them for campus placements. Students also grab really good off-campus placements with the help of supportive professors. Highest off-campus placement is around 50 LPA and average campus placement is around 7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can avail multiple scholarships in college like the state government scholarship or the NSP scholarship (if your father serves in any of the defence forces). You can also opt for fee-waiver seat while filling the college choice during counseling if you have really good score in JEE-Mains.

Campus Life

Infrastructure in the campus is really good. You will get a really big auditorium, well maintained hostels, dedicated arenas for different sports like lawn tennis, badminton, cricket, basketball, football, shooting, table tennis and what not. Clubs in college are really active too. You will clubs for you, whatever your field of interest is.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good here. Hostel structure differ from hostel to hostel but you will get all the basic facilities like clean bathrooms, hot water in winters, regular cleaning facility, dustbins etc. Hostels here are well maintained. Mess is available with all the hostels. Although, you will notice little bit decline in food taste of mess as you move to a senior hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Admission

To get into KIET, you need to apply for AKTU counselling and choose KIET Group of Institutions as one of your options in your choice filling order. Cut-off for Computer Science branch is around 84 percentile but you can get other CS-allied branches around 80 percentile. They will charge a lump-sum amount of around 20k as you lock in your college choice after round one of counselling and it will be deducted from your fees when you report to the college for admission.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
