Likes

The faculties are very friendly in nature.
There is 24*7 wifi connectivity are available for the students.
The environment is very good in the campus.

Dislikes

The food quality are not good or satisfactory.
The academic block distance is far away from the hostel
No transportation system are available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The optimum reason behind opting this course is that I want to learn how a website is developed and how the website seo are working and I also want to learn the web development. The faculties are very much humble and friendly in nature for the students.The difficulty level of exams are high inof for the students

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The eligibility criteria for the students to attend the placement after the sixth semester examination . The companies which visited for the placement are highly reputed in the corporate sectors. The average package is 500000 per annum and may varies according to the students skills. The percentage of students placed are 70-80 percent percentage year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no extra charges are paid by the students to the management for their personal development and the students paid total 200000 per year for their course and the hostel fees also include in it. There is no special scholarship available for the students.

Campus Life

There are lots of cultural and technical events are arranged by the college management. The students are also motivated by the management for their personal development and the college management also provides a lots of opportunities to the students in the sports and cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

The total hostel charges 65000 per year which also provides also the 24*7 wifi connection to the hostel students. The food quality of the hostel menu is almost good but not so satisfactory.The admission process is very user friendly .

Hostel Fee: INR 53000 per year

Admission

The eligibility criteria for taking admission in this course is that students have to attend the jee mains and the selection process goes on the government official website and the jee mains score ranking. There is no reservation available for the students. The admission process is easy to do.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including
Must of faculty members are belongs to home state

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

First reason was that it was cheaper in fee as compared to other colleges at that time but now they have increased the fee also later stage I realised that I did mistake choosing this college over the available options like silicon institute of technology,cv Raman University and SOA around similar fee structure with better facilities and placement stats. Actually I also applied for Iter Bbsr . But due to some family reason I can't take admission in it . Then after I see that, Driems facilities is also good. And no other college than compared within these fees structure and high facilities . No , I didn't get any rejection from any college, I didn't go there , due to some financial issues..
