The campus have no reservations.which is an good thing
The college provides teacher friendly environment
This college have an good habit of encouraging new talent

Dislikes

There will be some faculty....they make us get irritated sometimes and the main dislike is this

Course Curriculum Overview

There will be 3 CIA's which will be conducted as mids for subjects and best of two will be taken... The difficulty of question papers in the cia will be based on given faculty...and the correction will be lenient

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every sem there will be an increase in the 5 percent plus previous semester fee...the complete cost for doing a B.tech in sastra college is around 10 lakhs based on the conditions we live....Based on the talent stipends were also provided

Campus Life

There are three fests happening in the college called colloseum,daksh and kuruksastra the colloseum is an sports fest,daksh is an technical fest and kuruksastra is an College fest...these fests were in the monthfeb,match and April respectively

Admission

Eligibility to join B.Tech is must complete +2 or board exams in their respective boars Application form will be available in sastra portal No reservations in the college expect for Thanjavur and Trichy people.And some quota is available for NRI'S

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

In our college there any company are coming mostly plastic company where coming plastic company like Reliance ,fanuc, jsw, ather, caterpillar ecetera where coming they provide placements and packages above 3 lakh our placement office velladurai sir is a very kindful for he makes a company dealings

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for. Admission process start with first registration in sastra offical website then they will send email for the selected students for counselling where you have to pay the sem fees (45000) and the admission fees(10000) through demand draft or online banking.
