Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

All are good but needs improvement. I have choose the CSE Branch because it's the most demanding branch in this college but in others branches companies like tata and adani visit and the electrical and mechanical engineering students are placed in a good package. You can refer to the college website for detailed information.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 39900 per year

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement of my college is very poor.... Even if mass recruiters comes rarely to our college... But in electrical and mechanical engineering branch companies like adani and tata visits..but placement percentage is very low

Fees and Financial Aid

The college allows all the required scholarship to the students and it also contain a scholarship section where one can get the required information. The total cost of the course is around 6 lakh overally which includes both hostel and college fees otherwise it is 4.5 lakh

Campus Life

The overall experience in this college is good as it has a good campus life in this. And it is situated in the greenery of Berhampur area. It host the most famous fest of PMEC BERHAMPUR that is the EXUBERANCE. and in terms of sports it conduct Arena

Hostel Facilities

Hostel have a personal closet for each student and each room contains 3 students. 1st year students will stay in Ekalabya hall of residence. The meal quality is decent as like in every hostel....so don't expect more... It have locality names narendrapur where anyone can accommodate for room

Hostel Fee: INR 13360 per year

Admission

The eligibility of this course is scoring a good rank in jee mains exam. For CSE Branch the cutoff is around 2 lakhs. The candidate should apply through OJEE COUNSELLING and the date of application generally occurs in month of August. It have reservation for girls,sc,st and ews and also contain TWS Benefits. Exams are very strict and conducts on time. Some teachers are excellent and others are good enough.. Placement needs to be improved...

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

"PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
