What Students Say

Likes

College activities which are organised by facilities time to time
Orientation session for the students by societies and seniors for the 1st year students
Scholarship and placement training which are Being taken seriously by tnp department

Dislikes

Sometime campus size appears to be bit small
The food quality provided by mess of canteen can be improved
The interior of some places of the college can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Computer science and engineering is on the book right now in india and thus the first choice of any PCM student is to opt btech in CSE. Sone time the semesters are completed in less months thus giving students less time for the preparation do that can be improved The frequency and timings for exams are as usual like 1.5hr and 3hr.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience

The average campus placement is around 13lpa but if you are no placed on campus then there is no need to worry you can go for off campus and if u want refferals and etc then you are most welcome by the facilities of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is same in all ipu affiliated colleges... Out of the total fees 20k is University fees and the rest is offered to college. Complete cost of btech cse is somewhere around 6-7 lakhs. Yeah if your are enrolled in some college activities or private learning and you are given scholarship then yeah you are eligible to use it. No it's my 2nd year and I am seeking to get involved in internships and all but yeah acc to my seniors the placements are done accordingly.

Campus Life

For my perticular college that is BHAGWAN PARSHURAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. The campus size is small it's around 5-6 acres. But the Campous is nice and clean. College activities are also done organised time to time and the societies there are the best.

Admission

All the students with valid documents and validated for ipu enrollment were eligible for counsiling. Application forms and fees informations were all mentioned on IPU official website and respective brochures. Reservation benifits are same as usual as other universities. Exams are done twice a semester ie. Mid terms and end terms and they are quite difficult. The document verification can be more better because something things are done rushly.

Other Applied Colleges

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology - [MAIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't opt for this college because during tha time of counselling I was offered btech in IT and electrical. And my interest was only in persuing computer science and engineering

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
