Life at SMVDU

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that i am interested in motors and mechanics of anything i found around me. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits is by teachings us too many variety of subjects for example in this university the subjects we are studying is not only the machines but computers and other subject also. Teaching methods would be improved by taking tests regularly that have taught to us previously. The exams are in three parts 2 minors and one major . Minor are of 20 marks and major is of 50 then the semester ends.

The companies visits here are Mahindra Tcs Hdfc Suzuki and many more There are many projects that are offered by them to students. Thus internships are provided to them in last year of their degree. For that you should be elibgible for the company as well.

After 7 semester students become elibgible for the campus placements. Companies visits here are tata, tcs, hdfc, ibm , airtel, samsung, google and etc. and they make a huge no of offers for students. Highest package was 35 lakh per year which was offered to cse student. The percentage of students getting placements is around 55%. My plans after the degree might be changed in future.

Tuition fee is around 178890 rupees and if you opt for hostel and mess it goes to 2.50 lakh something. Rhe complete cost of education in M.E is 178890 rupees. Scholarships are awarded after the semester if you have 8.5 cgpa in that semester you will study next semester for free.

The annual and technical festivals are: Titiksha: Technial fest Vikalp: shaping india Tatva : management fest and etc. There is wide range of books in library it includes books regarding academics, competitive exams and many others. Classrooms are good and nice with projectors white boards and a mic stand table etc. For sports, we have 2 grounds one is a stadium and one is the ground where basketball, volleyball and handball court are made. Here are a wide variety of clubs for example sports clubs, music clubs, and many more.

I have taken M.E. in Smvdu. Eligibilty for Mechanical Engingeering is that you should have 50% marks in aggregate subjects and you should have apeared in Jee or cuet. Cuet entrance exam is not that hard you just have some basic concepts. The frequency of exams is after 12 boards exams. The areas for improvement in the admission process is that they should provide online support to those who are unable to appear physically.
