I opted for this college because this college has a total of 43 well-qualified teachers, the average package of Doon Business School is 4.8 lpa, Companies that come for recruitment at Doon Business School are Axis Bank, Info edge, Infosys and Aon Hewitt and so I think this college is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course (BBA+MBA) that I have opted is divided into 10 semesters in which six semesters are of BBA and the next four semesters are of MBA. In every semester, I study six subjects in total. When I will go to MBA, I will be doing an internship for 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides stipend but I am currently studying in the second year of Integrated MBA. So I cannot describe much about the experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. The fee is affordable for each and every one who desires to study there with full potential. The college also provides the best return on investment. The fees for 2 years full-time MBA Programme ( 2017 ) at Doon Business School is Rs. 3.64 lakhs. For BBA+MBA, the fee is 55,000 per semester along with some amount of examination fee, security, and registration.
Hostel Facilities
I would directly say “NO” for opting either Boys or Girls hostel from college. The facilities aren’t really good. They don’t even take care of the Water facilities and Cleanliness in the Hostel. Better would go for any private Hostel or take a room on rent and stay there, do trust me College Hostel isn’t good and once you pay for the Hostel then you won’t be able to leave it in the First Year and if you do they will charge you a penalty of ?17,000 for breaking their one year contract.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are quite helpful and knowledgeable person. They help their youngers, motivates them for extracurricular activities.
Exam Structure
Since the courses that are offered by the college is affiliated to the different university like Uttarakhand Technical University, HNB Garhwal University, Sri Dev Suman University. So the exam structure depends on them. My course (BBA+MBA) is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. So the exam structure is like long questions of 15 marks each and short questions of 7 marks each.
Admission
I got admission in the institute in following ways :- 1. I filled up the form and then I was given a date for interview and group discussion. 2. I appeared for interviews and group discussion and then I got selected. 3. I received a call letter from the college and asked to join the institute on a particular date with all the important documents like marks sheet, birth certificate etc.
Faculty
Faculties in the college are best. They are having a lot of knowledge in various aspects. Some faculties like Sunil Madan, Dr. Ajay Tyagi, Dr. Vasudha Sharma, Purvi Sawhney, Dr. Suresh Kumar Tannan, Nav Jyoti Singh Negi are one of the best faculty in the college.
