DTU - A LIFE FULL OF ADVENTURE

I chose this course because i always wanted to do field work. Not sitting in the office infront of a computer. The Curriculum is very much helpful as it teaches us things which can be applied in real word.But in college there is so much of theory work that the practical study is ignored most of the tims.

College helps in getting internship. You can apply for it after your 6th sem. Last year around 30 companies such as Adobe, Google,Zerodha etc came. Maximum stipend was 200k. Most of the projects were of technical branch such as Developing, Sales etc.

Placements are provided by the college. Students can apply for it after 7th semester. There were around 120+ companies visited last year. The highest package was around 1.2cr from CSE department. Average package was around 10-12 LPA. In my branch around 80% students were placed.

The tution fees is around 6.5lakh for 4 years.in first year my fees was around 150k and now in second year it is 160k and so on. It will increase around 10k every year.There are scholarship available on the basis of various things like sports, financially etc. College provides placement and internships. Currently i have done any, but many of seniors have done internships.

The annual fest is called ENGIFEST. Also there are other small fests happening regularly. DTU has a very big library and u can use it 24/7. Classroom are technologically advanced. There are smart boards, projecter etc. The sports facilities is also good. I myself is a part of hockey team. College also takes in many cultural activities such as blood donation campaign etc. There are also many clubs which one can join.

Hostel is available in DTU, one can apply for it during the college counseling time.The fees of hostel for 4 years is around 4-5 lakhs. The rooms are nice, you can choose single room or sharing with AC Non Ac type. The meal is fine somedays its good someday its not.

For the admission first you have to give JEE Mains examination.JEE Mains is an exam conducted by NTA twice a year, one in January and second one in April.The form fees for General category is 1000Rs per session. In JEE MAINS you have to score more than 96%ile for getting in DTU (for General Male Other State Category). After that you can register yourself in JOSSA Seat Allocation. Once you get selected you need to need to deposit some security money of around 60-70k. Then its all done.
