Course Curriculum Overview

Its an pgdm full time course which specialises in insurance and risk management. I would say it is an bundle of both management and insurance course. After completion you'll have fair knowledge about management and insurance industry.

Class Size: 147Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All students will get internship opportunities to best companies of the college. Around 40% gets pre placement offers. Today my batch of 147 students and all of them have SIP. The average stipend will be around 30 to 35k.

Placement Experience

100% placement since inception. The average package will stand around 13lacs this year. So, once you get into this college, you don't have to worry about your placement. You'll get placed in top companies of industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees right now is around 14 lacs. The top 5 students will get scholarship of 10 lacs and top scorer of 1st year will also get few scholarships. If you say about loans then they have tie up with multiple banks so loan process will be seamless.

Campus Life

Its an 50 acre lush green campus. Also very vibrant I must say. So, every other day you'll be involved in committee work. We celebrate every festival. They also have MoU signed with industry leaders for GL.

Admission

The cutoff was 90 percentile for cmat. Admission process is rigorous which include PI and extempore. The process starts usually when CMAT results are declared. After your PI after 10 to 15 days, they declare results.

Interview Experience

3.5

I would say there was no such problem in GD PI round as everything will happen at predefined time and date. The faculties were also very calm and will give you few opportunities in PI to excel. Good luck

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

I scored 87.90%ile in Cmat and as the COVID 19 pandemic was at the end I had to give PI online. The process was very smooth. The cut-off was 75%ile for CAT and 95%ile for Cmat. As I have done internship in a insurance firm and had cleared III (insurance institute of India) exams i had very good chances to get in NIA.
