What Students Say

Likes

No too much restrictions. We were given the choice of what we need and we do not.
College atmosphere is peaceful. Surrounding with a lot of nature
There are few friendly staffs who helps us in times of struggle

Dislikes

The food in canteen is not very good. The rate is too much for the quality of the food

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum provided is enough and provides with enough knowledge. I was able to learn concepts in a simpler and easy way. It'll be helpful if the curriculum is more of practical sessions or lessons.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is much affordable than the price I paid for school. We had the facility of paying in installments as for some it was not an easy task to pay the whole fees due to financial problems. I don't find any scholarship priorities and we have got placements and training on a regular basis. We've been given different packages and high ranked companies.

Campus Life

4.5

Technical events happen very often in the automobile department. It happens mostly in the month of March. Our Library has vast variety of books and concepts we need. We do have books both fiction non fiction technical coding etc. sports do play an important role in the campus life. Recently we had the annual sports meet (March). There's a lot of clubs happening but the English literature club is the most active and interesting among all others.

Admission

Initially the admission process was easy. The course I asked for didn't need any entrance exams so it was quite easy to get admission. I was eligible for the course as I was from commerce and maths dept. The administration was worse i personally faced a lot of hurdles during the admission process and the response to the issue was not upto the mark. I was given a specialisation i didn't ask for, because of such carelessness I had to repeat the process once again from scratch.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 5th or 6th semester depending on the course. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. If I receive a campus placement, I plan to start my career and gain industry experience. If I do not get placed through campus, I will continue improving my skills, earn professional certifications, and apply for jobs through off-campus opportunities until I secure a good position.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. You will get a direct addmission in this college...Read More

Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
