Campus environment is to good and no pollution
Maximum students get internships in 3rd year and 4th year

Mess food is too bad and not hygienic and room are not so clean
Placement is not good in non core branch

I have chosen computer science and engineering because I have interested in coding and becoming software Engineer.There are many areas where we improve our skill in computer science and engineering like, in Data science,AI ,web development, Android development.The class run from Monday to Friday at 9am to 5pm And timing of exam in month of December and may.

Internships Opportunities

Intership is provided to 3rd year and 4th year student Of our college and many students go for internship with own . Internship provided by company and educational institutes like IIT ,NIT, Infosys, DRDO,ISRO etc.

Placement Experience

Computer science and engineering placement is good in our college That is average 7-8 lakh and the highest package in this year is 20lakh. The company like Wipro, Infosys, L&T etc. 90percentage of students got placed in cse department.My plans after getting degree to go for higher study like gate .

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fee of first year Rs141000,mess fee Rs23358 Hostel fee Rs20000 and some extra charges are Rs27000 .After concluding total fees Rs226880. If your rank in jee Mains less than 1lakh and your cgpa is greater than 7.5 then there is 3semseter fee off.Yes, internship provided.

Campus Life

There are a lot of cultural activities happened in my college and 1 major fest conducted in my college Named ' Resurgence cultural fest' There are so many books in library like for competition and study and also reasearch paper available.

Hostel Facilities

There are 6 hostel in my college in which 4 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. Mess food of my hostel is To bad except special food which is given one's in a month. My hostel contain indoor game like batminton, table teniss etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

I have given the jee mains examination 2023. I got less than 1 lakh rank to get computer science and engineering branch.. Counseling was done by josaa/csab to get seat in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

My best college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

The positive of this college is that the environment is academic friendly and there is a level of strictness maintained by the college authorities. Review about Shri mata vaishni devi university

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Remarks:

Little partiality with some students and once teachers find u little mis behaving, They start hating u And give u good marks, Not a good infrastructure and not a good campus view. Very much constrution needed. And very less courses Offered.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
