Remarks

I think emphasis on placement needs to be pushed further. Industry conclave have to be organised regularly.

Entrance Preview

IBSAT was the entrance examination. Icfai being good brand, faculty, structured curriculum so I joined IBS Gurgaon

Course Curriculum Overview

Very structured curriculum, case studies n experienced faculty from industry. We had one finance faculty from big real estate company. One faculty was ex IIM Ahemdabad. One WAS CA who was teaching financial risk. Many electives were available to choose from with good faculty.

Internships Opportunities

General stipend was nil, Only few company like Gold man paid stipend. Most of were sales companies like unicorn, sharekhan, Religare who wanted students to do marketing.

Placement Experience

I think 70 percent were placed with average package of 400000. Icici, hdfc, South Indian Bank, copal partner, erricson, frost sulivan, markit, amex were major recruiter.

College Events

Blitzkrieg was the annual fest with centre of attraction bring zephyr business quiz hosted by Barack odrien. Top teams from college as well as corporate participants used to play zephyr.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid in 5 tranches 80000 at admission n 170000 before all four sessions. These were collected in form of bank draft, cash was strict no, cheques were also not allowed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Top performer used to get scholarship of 100000 n minimum of 50000. Loan program was not available but program to earn by marketing IBS forms n correspondence could be made

Campus Life

My batch had 440 girls to 220 men. Nice ambience in college. Quite is the correct word for the ambience with no fight between students. Multicultural n religion were part of college, students from 23 states were available.

Hostel Facilities

Good n reasonable food in college canteen. College didn't had a hostel, rather PG were occupied by students near college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

IBS alumi are everywhere. Good to be recognised from IBS. My bosses introduce me as someone with very good business knowledge n educated. In offices I do find alumi working at different level

Exam Structure

Exams used to happen in 4-5 days at times 2 exams in a day. Schedule of examination was very short typically we were finishing classes on X date n by X plus 10 all exams used to be over.

One of the best universities for MBA

Placement Experience:

Placements is good. Higher placements come for Engineering students but MBA and BBA students also get avg placement of 8-9 LPA. Many of my seniors from last year got good placements at top companies like Hyundai, Maruti,Amkette, Flipkart, Adaan.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.

Remarks:

The campus life at our college is very enjoyable. The system of library help the students to gain knowledge through different books. Ciunselling system is also provided at the college so that the student can get a healthy environment. Indoor Game facilities and a common room is also provided. These all are the positive things about our college.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is o.k. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is so good. They use to make fresh food every day which is the best thing of them so there is no need to worry about stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

Remarks:

Rules are strict. Students have to be punctual at college timings. In starting, schedule seems tough but after days goes, all turns into quality. Whatever the schedule is: it is good and long term beneficial for the growth of the students.

Remarks:

Considering the experience of the participants, the course has been designed for learning and upgradation of knowledge and skills nationally as well as internationally. The Course curriculum also includes one week foreign exposure to a neighbouring country. The international attachment of the participants of this group was organised at ‘Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia’.

An enriching experience

Remarks:

The uniqueness of the programme lies in its extensive use of market professionals as resource persons for the programme. Apart from sound grounding in academic concepts pertaining to the capital markets, the participants gets a chance to interact with senior regulatory officials, executives of exchanges, leading merchant bankers and foreign institutional investors.

A Deep Dive into IBS Gurgaon

I applied for ICFAI Business School,JAIPUR before taking admission in gurgaon. In jaipur they offer MBA(Masters of business administration) which is a theoritical degree and in gurgaon they offer PGPM (Post graduation program in management) which is a practical course,that's why i choose this college over others and the location is also quite good as gurgaon is the hub of jobs. Eligibility of the course mainly you need to be a Graduate and the application form, application fee and application dates were given on their official website. First of all, there were 2 rounds of tests for admission, mainly the first one was Entrance test which was IBSAT and the Second round was the GD round. IBS Gurgaon Review

Good- They Pay full attention to students, have interactive assignment and case based study, Dean Also interact with students.
