Course Curriculum Overview

It was very good as the teachers are strict and at the same time they were friendly, practicals were held regularly and all the practices are quite interesting. We don't have any research scholars in our college.

Internships Opportunities

An internship can also be done on college as that college provides a good platform to do internships for all the students so that they can be able to get placed at good and reputed companies with certain experience.

Placement Experience

We didn't have placement during our higher secondary years but we knew that placements were very good and many students got placed in many reputed companies.

College Events

Our college has many events like cultural nigh, college week, DJ night, etc etc, they were the mega-events l, the biggest events of that college, students used to enjoy a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very low, and I think it is affordable for every student, even if they won't be able to give then, there are many scholarship schemes for poor students.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college also provides a scholarship to needy students with good marks so they didn't face any problem regarding making their future a bright one.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't reside in the hostel but I knew that our hostel was awesome, students use MD to enjoy a lot and also studies at the same time, they also provide awesome food with nonveg at night, provide 3-time meals a day.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has a good alumni network and I really love to visit that place during alumni meet as it is awesome and we use to enjoy a lot.

Faculty

Faculty at this college are very much qualified and they give their 100% to teach their students and they are very friendly too. They love their students very much.

I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

I choose this course i.e. department of Botany because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate
The most important thing is that our department always go for practical experience i.e.through trip.
The department often conducts seminars and guest lecturers

Dislikes

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular
Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding
There is a very limited seats in hostel, the outstation students faces many difficulties to stay nearby the college.

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

Entrance Preview:

Firstly, we had to apply for respective departments which one wants to take an honours. Then ,cut off percent is taken out and students are given admission to that department as honours student.
