- The campus of the collage which is pretty huge, the environment in this

- The classes are not that good and advanced
- Most of the faculty members are very annoying. They are not as much good as they pretend. But some of the teachers are very good.
- The mess is worst in the collage... And one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
Course Curriculum Overview
In mechanical branch the course is pretty much basics. In first year you have to learn everything. From second to 3rd year you learn the basic syllabus of your course which every students should know. In the final year, students selects their elective subjects based on their special and interest.The lab classes are the most important classes of all as we gain in hand experience from them. But the teacher of few of the lab classes are not up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities
The internships come from different companies and our collage also provide internship for outside students. The state companies which provide internship are pretty good. The internship are available in summer and winter vacation
Placement Experience
The placement season of the collage starts from july to may of next year. For most of the companies students should have atleast 7cgpa on thr btech and no active backlog. There are many companies thay comes in this collage.. But the package is average.
Fees and Financial Aid
For general the tution fees are almost 70 thousand per semester which is around 150000 rupees per year which is pretty high.Incase the students choose to stay on hostel they have to pay around 30 thousand per semester which means it costs around 60 thousand per year.
Campus Life
Overall experience of mine is pretty much average as I did not join in club activities as much. But those join them their life us overall good. The clubs like pixel club, musical club malhar, fine arts club, gym khana club etc. The library is vast in the collage . The sports Complex is also huge. The nit agartala campus is pretty vast. There is one cultural event and one technical event.
Admission
You must passed 12th with 75% marks. You have to give JEE exam and after clearing the exam u need to fill the form for colloges in JOSAA website. There you select yor preferd collage and couses and then the counselling starts and after 6 counseling the addmision process begins. The selection of colloges and counseling starts from july /august of every year. The selection and the fees based of reservation. ST and SC students get special benifits for couse selection and semester fees are reduced to almost 70-90% and for EWS students there is also reservation but not as much as the ST and SC students. There are 2 exams per semester one midterm and one end term. Students should have 75% attendance to sit on the exam.
