Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum matching woth IITS. Frequent fests , ebviroment and teachers inspired me to join SMVDU. Curriculum is somewhat good but not at par with NITs IITs More practical approxah to education is required and students should be less burdened

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is increased after regular interval as per market trend and inflation. It is wuite high even for lower middle class family. Complete cost set around 800000 for 4 years excluding personal expenditure. JEE mains scholarship, Sem Scholarship are two main scholarship offered

Campus Life

3.5

TITIKSHA- year end AARTHA-mid year AADHAR-any free window RESURURGENCE- spring SARANG-autumn TARANG-spring Books and journals are available via library or even remote access through college email id Facilites are good withinn classes with projector in every class Sports are good, credit to lush green environment Many groups and clubs are run and you can even start your own club by the permission of DSW

Hostel Facilities

3

Meal is worst, no healthy food, junk food instead of healthy food. Late service and little to no special food. In hostel rooms, 1 bed almorah desk chair and fan is provided along with 2 electroc socket Registartion is simple. Just contact the warden of your alloted hostel and you will choose ur room No PG or rented room are allowed from cllg side

Admission

I took admission on the basis of my JEE Main rank. Other methods of admission are also available. You can fir find application form on site of SMVDU with tab called ADMISSION. Application fee varies depending on mode of admission. Exams were of the pattern like 2 minor and 1 major exams followed bu practical exams and PPTs if any. Exams were of moderate difficulty and can be cleared easily. The quizes and Assignments are frequently given. Less students shall be admitted as it creates a jungle like enviroment in college

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Remarks:

The positive of this college is that the environment is academic friendly and there is a level of strictness maintained by the college authorities. Lack of modern infrastructure and absence of various general and academic facilities hampers the ideal college life of balancing the knowledge and enjoying the college time.
