class room and lab timing are the worst.
location of hostel is too bad..that is distance between hostel and class room is high

this curriculum is mainly focused on Information technology so this is main reason why i choosed this course overall the course structure is similar to other world class clg with that i don't have any issues improvements can be done by including new course regarding latest techologies and differently level is mid

from 4th year that is 10th sem the students become eligible for compus placements catepillar, four kites, and companies form iit incubations etc. highest package is 24lpa and lowest package is 7lpa. around 70pecent student is getting placed

there is no such thing like tution fee increments....throw out the own year the fee struture is same and doesn't change oveall charge for the 5 years is roughly around 2 lakhs...as this is course is self financed there is no scholar ship and its consist of sc/st scholarships 7 and 10 sem have interships

annuallyy there are two major events techoffes for non technical and kurukshetra for technical stuff...clg has a main library where students can stay and study as well as they can get book for some duration. each and every classroom consist of projectors and other necessary things and some faculites are good enought to teach us

Hostel Facilities

hostel facilites are available for both boys and girls. meal is some sort of ok and menu changes for each semester. if the student is not in the range of chennai they can afford hostel and registration prcoess is simple

Likes

There are many courses including post graduation.
Faculties are well expertise and has good mentorship quality
The fees are affordable to pay for the course I have selected

Dislikes

Need to improve the infrastructure of the college
Crowded canteen it would be better if we have one more
There is some hygienic issues in the washrooms could be better if it is hygiene

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

Likes

The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.

Dislikes

4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.

Hostel , mess food and mess hall , no facilities for marine practical

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

The admission process was so simple for both regular and lateral entry students. The must attain certain cutoff to get admission in CEG. The diploma students can join as lateral entries and they too need certain percentage to get admission. Every department has a specific cut off percentage to join in them. The students can join through counciling process. The counciling process will held separately for regular and lateral entry students. The eligibility condition is a minimum cut-off in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in class 12 board exams. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50 percent in those subjects if he belongs to the general category. The minimum percentage is 40 percent for the reserved categories.
